9mm gun

If someone told you that you could only own one handgun for carry, home, etc. and it had to be a 9mm which 9mm would you want?

Think dependability, accuracy, recoil, shoots well.

Springfield XD or XDM. I bought the 4" XD, and liked it so much I went back and bought a .40 and .45!! Love them!

Ruger SR9C, 10+1 and 17 extra. I like the feel, the functions and it's the only one I currently own Also the only one I have experience with.

i understand your question.had a glock 19 gen 4 but the rough texture of the butt was not comfortable,also was a little too big to conceal since i live in fl.solution was to get a glock 26 gen 3 with a nate squared iwb.then got a leather mag carrier with a glock 19 mag to carry with thegun loaded which holds 11 for a total of about 26 rounds with excellent concealment.at home i then put in the 19 mag which extends the grip while giving me 16 shots with the two 10 round mags as backup.works for me.

I'd go with a Browning Hi-Power.

I think the best gun to carry is the one that you like. If you like it you're going to shoot it and get good with it. (hopefully)

One problem that always seemed to be a factor was comfort and concealment.
Larger, bulky pistols do not make for comfortable carry.
If too bulky and heavy, often the choice will be made to leave it in the car or at home....which defeats the purpose.

I purchased an LC9 not too long ago and it is (imo) the perfect conceal carry weapon.
Easily shoots 5in groups from standing position at 70ft. It's very accurate.

Look into them before you decide.

My Gen3 Glock19c. She's a beaut. The G17 magazines give me the ability to carry 17+1 in my carry gun and also work in my Keltec Sub2000. Good times.
