Where did everyone go? Well, the gun specific forums are pretty active. 1911, Glock
Doesn't seem to have been much action on this forum in quite a while. Most of the threads are really old. Is everyone going somewhere else?
Where?Yes.
My best guess, scattered to other interests. I see some forums have lost a percent of membership and the folks staying behind are discussing mostly "off topic" subjects. Some are still political, many are not. 2A topics are like a sidebar.Where?
Carolina Firearms Forum per chance? My best guess, scattered to other interests. I see some forums have lost a percent of membership and the folks staying behind are discussing mostly "off topic" subjects. Some are still political, many are not. 2A topics are like a sidebar.
Pro 2A folks have seen enormous wins in the last 10-15 years and less. Many of these discussion groups had a common focus - winning. Well, OK, we've not exactly "won", but we've accomplished a lot.
Look to Heller, MacDonald, Bruen, Constitutional Carry, etc.
I'm not saying it's over, but the emotion/passion has diminished.
No idea where you are, I'm on the east coast. I spend a fair amount of time on a PA forum, PAFOA, and a MD forum, MDShooters, really only because they are local to me, but they are also very busy compared to this group.
And I also indulge other hobbies/interests by spending time in groups that have nothing to do with guns or the 2A.
Obviously I still peek in here occasionally, and mostly lurk, then move on.
Yea, Arizona here. I am on the 1911 and Glock ones. We did get a little off and heated here, miss the old ones.My best guess, scattered to other interests.
