If someone told you that you could only own one handgun for carry, home, etc. and it had to be a 9mm which 9mm would you want?

Think dependability, accuracy, recoil, shoots well.

:triniti:

im new to firearms (6 mos.)did alot of shoppin around , but finally settled on the magnum research baby eagle 9mm (polymer) love it !!!

Still take 45, but if only choice most likely the Browning Hi Power in photo above which I already have or Walther PPQ.

I'd probably get the XDm 4.5 9mm. It's reliable, good size, ergonomical, looks cool, and I like the way it shoots. Plus the factory mag holds 19.

I am with Andrew17. I would be just fine with my Springfield XDM-9. Although it holds 19 in the magazine and one in the chamber, it's really light and easy to carry

EASY: Sig Sauer p229. I carry it every day. It's as reliable as anything. Very very accurate. Night sights, 15+1 and accessories are easy to find (grips, holsters, mods etc) the catch: they are a little pricey and are all metal (32oz)
I love mine!

anything Glock, easiest to fire, cheapest to maintain, cheapest to mod, most reliable, and usually cheapest to buy.

then i'd tell her she can only use one purse for dining, shopping, going out.

Fmk 9c1 gen 2 . I have 1 shoots great 1500 rounds and no problems out of it takes down and cleans like glock but alot cheaper then a glock . I picked it up for 315.00 brand new . And cant forget its got the bill of rights ingraved in it for when the goverment trys to forget what our rights are

I chose the Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra carry. Its economical, accurate, fits nice and fun to shoot. 13+1 capacity. All metal for longevity and its reliable right out of the box..

As with any post that asks for choice of gun or ammo you are not going to get a consensus on any forum. As for me I would go with M&P 9c with combination of compact and full size mags.
