9mm gun

I have small hands, for a man, and find that a Khar fits my hand like a glove. I love the feel of it. It fits my hand as though it were made just for me. It has to fit YOU. It isn't a one fits all situation. It is a given, of course, that it be a quality weapon that goes bang everytime you sqeeze the trigger. There are many quality weapons to chose from.

Glock 19... however, certainly not my favorite for concealed carry. Have a Taurus PT709 Slim, but not happy with it. Will try S&W M&P Shield next.

S&W 6906 oddly enough the only 9mm I own now
Not a bad choice really. I own a 659 and a 5906 and keep debating getting the 59 at the local shop.

And for open carry and distance with a 9mm, the Colt AR-15 9mm Carbine.

If someone told you that you could only own one handgun for carry, home, etc. and it had to be a 9mm which 9mm would you want?

Think dependability, accuracy, recoil, shoots well.

:triniti:

From a life long 1911 fan.....

Walther PPQ as it more than meets your criteria. Plus it offers many additional items only found coming from a custom shop.

ambidextrous controls, rounded butt for better concealment, melted anti snag edges, best striker trigger on the market, adjustable grips and adjustable sights. 15 + 1 magazine and has the most comfortable natural combat grip on the market IMO.

BERSA THUNDER NINE ULTRA COMPACT 9mm

I have a BERSA ThunderNine UltraCompact in 9mm and it is well built, well designed, rugged, and at least half the cost of comparable other pistols. Mag is 13 + 1 in the pipe! Fun to shoot too. You cannot go wrong with a BERSA firearm!

I own a Sig p250 2sum DAO & I love them. Accurate and reliable! I carry the subcompact in the summer, & the full size in the winter.

Got to say I love my FN FNP 9. Great to shoot, great wieght, easy break down. And I have no problem firing the cheap range ammo through it.

I would select the Bersa 9UC that I carry already. I have fed it around 700 rounds so far and the only failure was a FTE today with cheap TULAMMO stuff for practice.

i carry ruger sr9c with crimson trace red dot laser. great all round gun. only con i have is action is very stiff.

The Springfield Armory XD Subcompact I have in .40S&W would make a great 9mm gun; for me. I like the way the controls are place; the ergonomics are good for my hand; the triggers on the XDs are by far some of the most superb I've used. It's striker-fired, not hammer-fired, and I like that. I also like the safety features like the grip and trigger safeties. The magazines can come with a finger-extension. DKMAGS.com can get the gun and a lot of accessories at good prices.
