You've really got to see Dave Chapelle's take on this subject. Google Chapelle and equanimity. His politics are different than my own but he's one up on most people in terms of honesty.

It's a funny show. His take on Trump and others aren't anything new and I tend to just consider the source. Comedians and celebrities don't make the rules. I hope POTUS is a success and I'm looking with a critical eye.

I went to Handgunlaw.US. If I counted correctly, it appears that only 8 states don't recognize my CCW permit.
Now, for me, these states all have TWO things in common:
1.- If National Reciprocity passed, they would purposely subvert the Federal Mandate with State laws, making it so that virtually NOTHING,
in practicality, would change for concealed carriers.
2.- I will NEVER travel to ANY of these states, they will NEVER see dime one of my money.

That's a totally subjective opinion, which means it is only meaningful to you.
I don't think Trump is better or worse than what we've had for many years. At the bottom line, disregarding personality and any president's poise and efficiency at delivering rhetoric, their "achievements" have all been the same, and so will Trump's be. They all force the country towards the steady advancement of tyranny. None of them deserve credit for supposedly deviating from that course any more than any of the others, because none of them have. And that goes equally for Congress-critters, Supreme Court justices, and every political position of any degree of authority down through state level officials and cops on the beat. They're all in it together. You are not as free as you were the day you were born, and that's as true for 100-year-olds as it is for one-year-olds. It is an objective, substantiatable fact. Today Trump will sign a bill enslaving US citizens to another $1.3 trillion in debt. That alone substantiates my assertion, but there's tons more if only people would open their eyes to see it.

I've likened the election of Donald J. Trump as a reprieve from our downward spiral of lawlessness and moral bankruptcy. No doubt the man is the best friend of Israel for a long time, and may be the type of man that God put into place for one reason, to bring about the prophecies concerning Israel in this "Last Generation". God used King Cyrus the Persian who was a pagan king, to do His will concerning rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem and rebuilding the walls that surrounded the city. I believe Trump is a modern day King Cyrus, although not a perfect man, I believe he is God's man of the hour to do His will in conjunction to present day Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:3 - Zechariah 12:9) . The question is, will President Trump weather the left leaning onslaught of fake news and calls for his impeachment, even though they can find nothing to hang on him, save the contrived Russian collusion of the past election? It'll be only if God allows it to happen, and God is done with POTUS Trump and allows the next page of this End of the Age drama to proceed. Will Trump be re-elected? Only if it is in God's plan to withhold judgment on this nation for a few more years.
I believe God is using Trump for His purpose, and no matter how much vitriol is spewed by the media or otherwise, nothing will touch the POTUS until God says so. So do I worry about what's coming upon the earth at this stage of the End of the Age we called the “church Age”? Not in the slightest, because I know that this is the Last Generation, God is in control, and it will progress according to His Supreme Plan for mankind. It just lets me know that we're but a heartbeat and a breath away from the coming of the Lord. Remember, God raised up kings, and He takes down Kings according to His Divine plan. No one can usurp the will of Almighty God. Donald J. Trump is the president of the United States right now because God put him there. If he gets a second term, is that relevant to Bible prophecy? When it comes to interpreting unfolding Bible prophecy, it will even be relevant if he doesn't, because the Rapture would interrupt the USA being the sole Superpower of nations on this earth, as evident in it's prophesied failure in defense of ISRAEL. That's how close I believe we are to the “forceful removal of the Church from this planet at any moment in time” when the USA will virtually implode .

Trump as a reprieve from our downward spiral of lawlessness and moral bankruptcy, that's a big difference. Under Obama, America was reminded that a declining economy and rising unemployment was “the new normal” and that our best days were behind us. Now the left is frothing that we should credit Obama’s destructive policies for Trump’s unprecedented successes. In the name of this globalist agenda, Obama’s administration strategically choreographed the erosion of the strength and pride of America in order to reduce it to the vulnerabilities of a third world country. To achieve this, lawlessness was encouraged, unrest was supported, poverty was expanded, history was re-branded, allies were rejected, enemies were coddled, virtue was buried, and Christians were mocked. We're only starting to peel back and expose the eight years’ of Obama’s deceptive “hope and change.” It’s unpopular with the left to promote national pride, to secure borders, to enforce laws, to uphold the truth, to practice honor, and to exercise any common sense that finds its inspiration in God’s Word. If the left had their way, there’d be no borders, no religion, no genders, no personal responsibility, no morals, and no shred of Judeo-Christian values.
Here’s the bottom line: In one short year, our current President has made America stronger, safer, and more successful. He's directed our country’s path back toward sanity, reassured its legal citizens, and put a healthy fear in those who are not. President Trump recognizes we are still a nation “under God,” and he has done his part to align our country’s policies and positions with Bible-based principles. It’s easy to say that that the left doesn’t want America to succeed simply because the President under which that success is taking place is Donald Trump. The far left represents the leading edge of those that want to plunge over the precipice and into the chaos and conditions of the post-Rapture world, they scowl, they rage, they riot, they plot, they lie, and they convince more and more people of their deception every day. In a public moment the President of the United States delivered his State Of The Union speech where he spoke to the foundational concerns of all American people, regardless of their race, color, creed, or gender. The left’s rabid loathing of Donald Trump overwhelms any prudent instincts of their own maturity and responsibility.

Sorry, that's not the bottom line, that is the Republican talking-points line. Life sure as heck ain't any safer for babies in the womb after Trump signed that $1.3 trillion budget yesterday fully-funding Planned Parenthood, and it's certainly not any safer for tax-paying citizens who live in or near all those sanctuary cities that were also fully-funded. It wasn't made any safer with only about 6.5% of the funding for the wall that we were promised we'd never have to pay for in the first place.
I find it very hard to believe that God is controlling Trump's signing-hand considering his fully-funding Planned Parenthood.
I don't think Trump is following God's plan. As has always been the case, he's following his own.
