Waiting for BC1's outrage .....................

The flame wars will go on and on.

What we need now is an actual trial.

With popcorn and cocacola.

What we need are States Attorney's who do their jobs according to the letter of the law instead of imposing Political Prosecutions to further their own Political ambitions. Florida has many excellent laws, unfortunately we also have many less than ethical individuals in LE and the Courts.

She was doing her job.

Her job was to indict the dumm fool for shooting an unarmed kid, with the nation about to explode over it.

In Florida they always seem to overcharge, if history is any clue, whereas in California they always seem to undercharge.

This was Florida not California.

Your thinking on all issue SGB seems to be NRA down the line on everything, so I am wondering if you ever think at all, or if you rather just use the NRA to do all your thinking for you. Just send in your contribution to them and they will be happy, life membership, plus ILA donations annually. You don't need to give them your soul as well.

I happened to be kind of related (by marriage) to Jonathan Larson, the young author of the Broadway musical, "Rent" before he died on opening night of a brain aneurism. After the opening run on Broadway was so successful, the company took the show on the road, and I've seen it from Savannah to Atlanta, Memphis to Birmingham, and San Diego to LA to San Francisco. Most performances were done with completely different casts than the last one we saw.

It's always refreshing to see the same play with a new cast. Link Removed

Here's another non-thinking NRA clone.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the NRA.

Their clones however seem to be like flies on horse poopoo though.

The search function could have prevented you from making a fool of yourself. I'm one of the more distrusting of the NRA people on this site. I also grew up in CA, and know how difficult it is to shed the leftist, knee-jerk attitude of moral and intellectual superiority that place can instill in a person, and brother (or sister?), you are ate up with it.

Are you really so stupid? Her job is to IMPARTIALLY gather and access the facts and apply applicable State Statutes to the end of JUSTICE being served.

And overcharging is a flagellant violation of her oath of office, which goes to the point.

And somehow this is your way of dispelling my posts as the NRA is bad and therefore I must be bad as well? Are you

serious? ...........

Youre obviously NRA. Its not rocket science. You had your brain surgically removed and you donated it and gave the proceeds to the NRA. And as their mime, you don't need to think ever again in your lifetime.

Zimmerman used a firearm to defend himself so obviously he must be innocent of all charges. Its somewhere in the NRA charter. No need to think at all.

And you my friend are a true left cost liberal, you can't argue facts so you attack the individual, however I won't hold that (or that you voted for Obama) against you. Unfortunately for you I'm no more ashamed of belonging to the NRA than I am to being a Conservative Middle aged Christian White Male. That must put a real knot in your democratic underground embroidered panties.

How about putting that all aside and you man up and refute the content of my posts or at least substantiate that dribble you posted.

SGB and I have discussed this case at length and agree on almost every aspect of it. We have one minor disagreement. I have said that it was a mistake for Zimmerman to get out of his vehicle, and that regardless of my leaning towards the conclusion that he did indeed act in legal self-defense, none of it would've gotten that far had he stayed in his vehicle or called the cops and left, letting them deal with it. SGB disagrees that he made a mistake in that regard. We have each stated our positions, and gone on to have friendly conversation about the events of that night.

I think it's safe for me to conclude that SGB knows I'm concerned with sticking to the facts of the case.

I have no doubt at all that SGB is concerned with the same.

SGB is a proud member of the NRA.

I am not a member and have several issues with the way their tactics and strategies for furthering and/or strengthening our 2nd Amendment rights are implemented.

So what does the NRA have to do with this again? Not a damned thing, that's what.

When you have to attack a third party in such a lame attempt to invalidate the opinions of someone you're in an argument with, you have already lost the argument, and sister (or brother?), you have already lost the argument.

Believe me, the self-defense laws in CA are vastly different than they are in FL. You are probably more or less right if you're basing your opinions of the Zimmerman/Martin case on your (supposed) knowledge of CA law, but you quite obviously have no clue whatsoever what FL's self-defense laws say.

But, as ol' Abe Lincoln once said, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." Far be it from me to stand in your way as you so enthusiastically show us who and what you are. Carry on.

I have heard all the 911 calls that came in that night from Zimmerman, whom turned around and went back to his truck after they said don't follow him, the racial slur was edited in because he really said "Damn it's cold" and get back in his truck then he said Trayvon came back and started walking toward him, this is the only recording the media is playing. Not all the others describing screaming and a man in a hoody on top of a man hitting him MMA style and you could hear the screaming. Why would Trayvon be screaming? Zimmerman is toast because no one want's the NAACP,Al, Jesse, and The New Black Panthers start threatening to kill whites on Youtube WHICH NOTHING IS SAID ABOUT THAT!!!!!! I heard in Zimmermans call say, He's walking towards me then wrestling and the dispatcher kept asking if he was still on the line but you could hear the fight.

The only thing needed to find Zimmerman guilty is that he pursued Martin. Even if Zimmerman saw Trayvon commit felony crime, according to FL laws your can not pursue someone to stop them from fleeing.

nothing wrong with coming up to someone and asking what they doing
our condo commandos did that all the time when i lived in a gated community like that
they would question my friends at the pool who are you here visiting?? and stuff but none my friends attacked the commando doing the questioning

Same play, different cast....

Perhaps you could cite the FL laws to which you refer for all us know-nothings out here. Take your time. We already know you won't find any such law, but only you can prove it to yourself because pages and pages of forum posts citing the real laws haven't penetrated your errant suppositions.

Thats a million doller question. I see alota posts about george zimmerman but do you think he was right in what he did? I say no he wasnt right. You do not take ur gun out in a fist fight.

From what I, like a multitude of others, have read is his head was being slammed off the ground and was pinned on his back so he felt he had no other choice. Probably had no intent of killing anyone that night but it is what it is. What will this trial be about? Murder, justifiable homicide or poor choices and the stand your ground law? His major faux pas was confronting the kid when he was on the line with police and they told him not to confront. I think at worst he should probably get involuntary manslaughter and I am no expert on law so that may not even hold water. I don't think anyone has the complete details yet but enough is out there and too many people have been following this nationwide he may not get a fair trial. Another thing that is bothersome is Sanford, Fl, the media and the DA may want a conviction for murder so as to quell a potential uprising by the black community which is total BS. Sanford is seriously afraid that they may be the next "L.A. riots" but they shouldn't let politics get in the way of justice whether good or bad for Zimmerman. And that is my five cents (inflation ya know).

The whole situation could have been avoided. I know he was frustrated with prior BG issues but he shouldn't have confronted Trayvon in the first place and should have let the cops deal with any suspicions unless an imminent threat was present. Then, If Trayvon did not have a gun, I don't understand why Zim would shoot him. Everyone gets their ass whooped at one time or another....I may get flamed for saying so, but I think Zim was being a puss and turned to the gun prematurely.

I wasn't there and wasn't in either of their shoes so I can't judge to facts but I honestly believe that this should not have happened.
