It depends on what I'm carrying. Usually my Kahr PM45. 5+1 and an extra magazine.

What's your magazine capacity?

I cheat! I carry a Taurus PT709SS 9mm w/7+1 plus spare magazine, and I pocket carry a TCP-738 .380 w/6+1 plus spare magazine. Both guns and spare magazines are loaded with Federal Premium HydraShok JHP +P rounds. If some BG can take all of that and still want to cause trouble, then I'll beat him to death with my Arkansas Hickory-Root cane!:laugh:

Let's see: In the 1911 45 caliber 8+2 spare mags =24 And in the PT92 9mm 17+ 2 spare mags of 17ea.= 51 guess it depends on what neighborhood I'm traveling in at the time.:biggrin:

Pretty much the way I feel. Since my mags are 10 rd, I load +1, but 21 rounds had better get me OUT of the situation, or in reach of another higher capacity, higher powered gun.

i cc a Bursa thunder9pro ultra compact 13 in the mag +1 in the pipe and carry a extra mag plus 1 more round.

My 2 carry guns are a .40 S&W, 6 in the mag, and i carry one extra mag. The other is a snubnose .357. I keep it loaded with 6 38 +P+, and a speedloader with .357s.

My bedside gun is a Taurus model 92 with 2 15 rd mags, and one 30 rd mag.

Springfield 9mm, XDM3.8 Nice big 19 round Mag. Hard to conceal in summer, so then a Kahr, PM9 with 7 round Mag.

HK USP 9 Compact 13+1. I don't carry my extra mag. I don't think it is necessary.

Taurus 617 357 mag. 7+7+7. Federal 125gr JHP (yes, Marshall and Sanow). Sometimes Speer Gold Dots.

PRHI restricts magazine capacity to 10 rounds. When permitted by law, I will carry my standard capacity 13 round magazines (Glock 23) and spare 15 round magazines.
