The Ruger is a good weapon and a decent shooter to use, still a little big for CC, but if thats what you got........were you and your wife going to use the same gun for your qaulifying?, if I may suggest get her a SR9c and use the Jennings as tradeing material, because not only is a 25 cal a very underpowered rd, the Jennings is not very reliable, then when you can get a better qaulity gun for a bugMy wife and I will be taking class this month for our CCDW, so I checked our planned carry guns. Two that I plan to use that are not on the list are the Ruger SR40c and - don't laugh, Jennings J-22 for BUG.

Thanks for your valued opinion Rocketgeezer, I will most likely use the SR9c for qualifying next weekend.
The Jennings was a gift received from my Dad years ago and is just a fun toy. I wouldn't trust my lovedone's lives to it
BTW, my wife qualified with her Springfield XD9 Sub-compact last Saturday, she scored 19 of 20.
She placed her first 11 rounds (the minimum) in the torso of the B-21 target, then got cocky and did head-shots!:triniti: Not too bad for a gal who shot her first handgun two months ago.
The rest of her "Females Only" classed were shooting mostly pink 22's:haha:
