The majority of the time my primary carry is a Glock Model 21 with an extended barrel and ported muzzle. My rationale is that, if I'm going to be caught in a pistol gunfight, then I want to be holding onto, 'as much gun' as I'm able to comfortably carry. My other primary carry pieces are a Glock Model 19 or a snub-nose S&W Model 686 (No, '+' because you can't get decent speedloaders for, '+' revolvers)
My secondary carry pieces vary; but, most often, it's a Beretta Model 3032, 'Alley Cat' that I keep in either an outside or front left pocket; or (When I need really deep concealment.) a Walther Model PPK-S. I always carry extra magazines for whatever pistols I'm using; so, yes, I'm often, 'weighed down' by lots and lots of hardware!
The 357 Magnum Ruger SP-101, with a very useful hammer spur and 3" barrel, is my wife's primary carry; and, on occasion, one of my secondaries.
PS: I already voted; so these pistols don't have to be entered into the list a second time. I found it interesting to note the figures on Glock Model 19's and 23's, as well as the Walther Model PPK-S. Doesn't change my mind about anything, though. I do think, however, that a way should be found to distinguish between primary, and secondary carries. My Beretta, 'Alley Cat' is definitely a secondary; anyone who carries one of these things as a primary is - in my opinion - nutz!
