I have always heard that size didnt matter but the larger ones were easier to control. Jus sayin...I just keep telling myself that here in the civilian world, guns are weapons and weapons are guns.
Not me -- nor my wife. My wife was once stalked while on a job assignment. It ain't gonna happen again. It would be interesting to see how many on this forum would be willing to post a picture of themselves so that we all could actually see who we're communicating with.![]()

That's an interesting holster and belt combo.I carry openly, all the time and everywhere. Here is my picture with a Marlin 30-30 just purchased at a gun show.Link Removed
I'd be interested in a holster like that. At 55 (soon to be 56 years of age) I have "acquired" some of the usual effects of aging. And my job as a security officer has me sitting more often that not.Big Gay Al, that picture is about 4 years old. I've since gotten a much better belt. The holster is a "desk rider." It can be worn cross draw or appendix. I cannot reasonably draw straight up from any belt holster, and this was what I found that worked for me. The draw is fast, smooth and I can present that .45 front and center with little time or effort wasted. I use and teach something called "Fist-Fire", a point and shoot system that gives me great control and stability. This is, of course, for short range shooting. Longer range requires use of the sights.
