Smoking Pot and Carrying Concealed... not so sure it's wise

I don't associate intoxicants with "freedom". It's actually enslavement.

Perhaps you would be ok with your right to free speech to be taken away? Didnt think so..... Those of us arguing with you arent trying to take it away, we are DEFENDING it.... Yet you think that ANYTHING you dont like or agree with is "fair game" to be infringed upon, and you think it is WE who dont understand "RIGHTS"? oh my....

all of you have utterly failed to show any evidence of your position of "marijuana makes people shoot innocents" ..... Or that it actually is a problem other than in your very bigoted minds....... But,,, you have shown everyone on here that you dont give a rats azz about other peoples rights......

Until your rights are or have actually been infringed upon by someone smoking pot, nothing you say is valid, period.....

Exactly 100% ++++

Spoken like someone who STILL has no effing clue....... an UnConstitutional "law" is NOT A LAW AT ALL........ Get your head out of your backside and wake up.... Until you do that, YOU ARE PART OF THE FRIGGING PROBLEM that gives legitimacy to those UNLAWFUL "laws".....

Let's try a little experiment... Take the constitution in one hand, and some marijuana in the other and stop by your local police station. Explain to them that the law is unconstitutional and that you have every right to smoke your marijuana in their lobby.

Here's a wrench in the works for everyone.
.
How many people in America take prescription meds for pain, insomnia, depression or anxiety? How many of them are LEO, judges, court officers, guards or armed security personnel. How many need those meds just to function daily? All of these substances have a known affect on cognition, reflexes, emotions, etc. Just because a doctor prescribed a narcotic med doesn't mean you can't be charged with DUI. While marijuana may be mostly illegal I think these substances, including alcohol, are much worse. So when we say no one should carry under the influence of drugs are we willing to strip people of their rights just because they were injured?

Smoking anything inside the building will get someone escorted of the premise. Now, do the same experiment in the park, the cop wouldn't do a thing where I live.

Actually it was just me. That's what I think of people like you, you are not an ally to freedom or liberty...or maybe you just want to restrict the 1st amendment too. Not surprising, with the username N R A, it make sense.

You should keep telling everyone why marijuana is a schedule 1 drug, its a good laugh with how uneducated you are on drug schedules.

Definition of Controlled Substance Schedules

Drugs and other substances that are considered controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) are divided into five schedules.* An updated and complete list of the schedules is published annually in*Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) §§ 1308.11 through 1308.15.* Substances are placed in their respective schedules based on whether they have a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, their relative abuse potential, and likelihood of causing dependence when abused.* Some examples of the drugs in each schedule are listed below.

Schedule I Controlled Substances

Substances in this schedule have no currently accepted medical use in the United States, a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision, and a high potential for abuse.

Some examples of substances listed in Schedule I are: heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), peyote, methaqualone, and 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine ("Ecstasy").

Schedule II/IIN Controlled Substances (2/2N)

Substances in this schedule have a high potential for abuse which may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence.

Examples of Schedule II narcotics include: hydromorphone (Dilaudid®), methadone (Dolophine®), meperidine (Demerol®), oxycodone (OxyContin®, Percocet®), and fentanyl (Sublimaze®, Duragesic®).* Other Schedule II narcotics include: morphine, opium, codeine, and hydrocodone.

Examples of Schedule IIN stimulants include: amphetamine (Dexedrine®, Adderall®), methamphetamine (Desoxyn®), and methylphenidate (Ritalin®).

Other Schedule II substances include: amobarbital, glutethimide, and pentobarbital.

Schedule III/IIIN Controlled Substances (3/3N)

Substances in this schedule have a potential for abuse less than substances in Schedules I or II and abuse may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence.

Examples of Schedule III narcotics include: products containing not more than 90 milligrams of codeine per dosage unit (Tylenol with Codeine®), and buprenorphine (Suboxone®).

Examples of Schedule IIIN non-narcotics include: benzphetamine (Didrex®), phendimetrazine, ketamine, and anabolic steroids such as Depo®-Testosterone.

Schedule IV Controlled Substances

Substances in this schedule have a low potential for abuse relative to substances in Schedule III.

Examples of Schedule IV substances include: alprazolam (Xanax®), carisoprodol (Soma®), clonazepam (Klonopin®), clorazepate (Tranxene®), diazepam (Valium®), lorazepam (Ativan®), midazolam (Versed®), temazepam (Restoril®), and triazolam (Halcion®).

Schedule V Controlled Substances

Substances in this schedule have a low potential for abuse relative to substances listed in Schedule IV and consist primarily of preparations containing limited quantities of certain narcotics.

Examples of Schedule V substances include: cough preparations containing not more than 200 milligrams of codeine per 100 milliliters or per 100 grams (Robitussin AC®, Phenergan with Codeine®), and ezogabine.

Smoking an hallucinogenic drug and then doing anything with guns is just plain ignorant and blocking people from mixing the two is not a violation of rights. It would be a violation of everyone else's rights to safety letting a drug charged pot smoker do anything with guns. Falure to reconize that, shows bad judgment.

There are at least 4 people in this thread that i would very much like to take up that challenge and try it. By all means, walk in stoned with a gun in your belt.

You can copy and paste, you still haven't explained it...remember earlier you stated marijuana was a schedule one drug because it cures cancer...now you pasted the definition which says there is no medical purpose...so which is it?

Secondly, pot is a schedule one drug for only one reason, THC cures cancer.

Why can't it be enough for it to be illegal to actually commit a criminal act with a gun? Why does it have to be illegal to simply carry it? That's like saying let's fix the drunk driving problem by making it illegal to carry car keys under the influence.

What would that be? the part where I call you out on wanting to infringe on everyones RIGHTS for doing something you dont like?

And HER DRINKING herself to DEATH is OUR FAULT???? WTF?

I would say that the odds are 100% in favor of it being more YOUR fault than ours... her being YOUR SISTER and all....

Kinda harsh, I know, but hey, YOU ARE SAYING IT IS OK WITH YOU (and those like you) THAT WHATEVER YOU PERSONALLY DONT LIKE CAN AND SHOULD BE AN UNLAWFUL ACT.....(in YOUR WORDS, a MAJOR FELONY) and I dont take those kinds of THREATS to my liberty very well.....

You are a real peace of sh...it. By the way does your ahole stink after you dump your colon? Just real curious. If you were in front of me right now I would spit right in your face. I will give you an address to come to or are your guts caught in your skirt. I would love to spit in your face. Come on girly ***! Or you might be a lezbo I guess...which are you...hermaphrodite or what.

What is it with you jack asses. Check this link...pot is an hallucinogen like it or not

You can google it yourself. If you are a pothead and I find you I will make certain your are without firearms. That goes for any other potheads I find that want to play with guns. Play with your ***** if you must play with something.

Let me find you with a bag of pot and a gun. Off you will go if I have anything to do with it. If you had the courage of your convictions you would find yourself a public park and light up some joints and show off your firearms. But you know what I think...I think your a little bitty coward. I think your skirt is too tight and it is squeezing your nuts and raising the pitch of your voice. The problem with the truth is it never goes away and never changes. I don't care if you wanna be a dope head...just keep it 50 miles away from me.

If you don't know the answer to that question perhaps you should stay off this thread because ignorance is no excuse for getting people hurt or killed. Seriously if you don't know go over to the sponge bob thread. He's the guy with the square pants and lives in a pine apple. Come to think of it sponge bob probably smokes dope...you might learn something.
