Actually... you came into the forum looking for, and using verbiage that would go a long ways to engender, the result you are now saying you will use in your story and THAT doesn't paint a good picture for the Boston Globe. You guys get your wish. I'm gone. I'll let you in on a secrete. I'm actually a writer for the Boston Globe. I'm doing a story on "Homegrown Extremest". It's thanks to my assistant Maggy I found this forum. My editor say to stop the research and start writing. You guys have been great. Don't worry the only personal info I'm allowed to use is your username and the state you're from. You can look for the article in the 2/22 edition of the Globe. Thanks for making asses out of yourselves. You people did not paint a good picture of "gun enthusiast".
I wonder what the reaction of the Boston Globe would be if the Publisher and CEO

were sent a link to this discussion for their perusal? If you are actually writing for The Boston Globe I suspect those fellows wouldn't have much trouble finding your desk since there probably aren't many folks who have an assistant named "Maggy".
Edited to add: I personally am not a "gun enthusiast". I am a firearms owner who understands what the 2nd Amendment was written for and who also understands the role firearms played in creating this country along with the role firearms play in protecting this country plus the role of personal safety for the individual from criminals the firearm has played in the past, the present, and what it can continue to play in the future.
And one last thing... if you really are writing a story for the Boston Globe I pity whoever proof reads and corrects your article because they have their work cut out for them.
I wish you well...
