In another forum we had a thread where somebody recounted his long way to clearing his name after his (now ex) wife called the cops on him claiming he was assaulting her trying to kill her - he was not at all.
An older gent suggested he should just have taken a polygraph test to help his case and I basically said that I don't think that really is thing. Like in you can't demand one or ask for one and police will comply. Does anybody know? I think they are mostly a movie thing and not used in cases like this in the real world?
