Newbe here. I retired from the NYCPD in 1982 (wow it's been awhile!!), moved to Pennsylvania where I had a carry permit, then moved to Florida where a carry permit was not required. I now live in New Jersey where I have found it to be the most restrictive state to obtain a carry permit. I'm beginning the process to obtain one but have found that even though i have carried most of my adult life I am being treated as though I never had a pistol in my hand. It appears I may be denied. We'll see.

Thanks to all for the welcome; went to visit relatives in OH and not been on in a little bit; had enough trouble trying to figure out any differences in KY/OH carry law since thats the first time i've been up there since i got my KY carry permit:wacko:
