We have not heard from you in a while. You just recently get paroled? We have not had enough trolls lately.

I did not join USA Carry to read insults being thrown about. Just because we are all "in disguise" and noone really knows who we are doesn't mean that we can't treat each other with respect. Being able to voice our opinions, even though they may differ, is our Constitutional right of freedom of speech. But, come on, Guys, we are ALL Patriots here. Let's act like it.

Sorry Conservative Wife & Mom. I know all of us here disagree on occasion. Most of us understand that. However every once in a while some one shows up whose goal it seems is to be contentious and argumentative with anything and everyone. You are correct though, it would be better to take the high road rather than lower our selves to being sucked into an argument and name calling. So let me apologize to you and my other fellow posters for allowing that to happen. The better response would be when we run in to someone like that is to just put them on our ignore list and move on.

Good man! Your apology is accepted. :pleasantry: "Ignore & move on"... those were the words of a true patriot!!! :pleasantry:

Agreed! Apparently only christians have the right to be free in America now. Lets go ahead and stick all the muslims in camps like we did with the japense and germans in WWII, then all you racist hillbillies can sleep at night. I guess being a bigot is a requirement of being patriotic now a days.:hang3:

I am not a troll or nor do I try to oppose everyone's point of view on this site. There are certain people I disagree with more than others.

Army Major in Fort Hood Massacre Used 'Electronic Means' to Connect with Terrorists

Fort Hood Shooter Tried to Contact al Qaeda Terrorists, Officials Say - ABC News
Nov. 9, 2009 —

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.

Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said that he requested the CIA and other intelligence agencies brief the committee on what was known, if anything, about Hasan by the U.S. intelligence community, only to be refused.

In response, Hoekstra issued a document preservation request to four intelligence agencies. The letter, dated November 7th, was sent to directors Dennis Blair (DNI), Robert Mueller (FBI), Lt. Gen Keith Alexander (NSA) and Leon Panetta (CIA).

Hoekstra said he is "absolutely furious" that the house intel committee has been refused an intelligence briefing by the DNI or CIA on Hasan's attempt to reach out to al Qaeda, as first reported by ABC News.

"This is a law enforcement investigation, in which other agenciesnot the CIAhave the lead," CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano said in a response to ABC News. " Any suggestion that the CIA refused to brief Congress is incorrect."

Investigators want to know if Hasan maintained contact with a radical mosque leader from Virginia, Anwar al Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen and runs a web site that promotes jihad around the world against the U.S.

In a blog posting early Monday titled "Nidal Hassan Did the Right Thing," Awlaki calls Hasan a "hero" and a "man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people."

According to his site, Awlaki served as an imam in Denver, San Diego and Falls Church, Virginia.

The Associated Press reported Sunday that Major Hasan attended the Falls Church mosque when Awlaki was there.

The Telegraph of London reported that Awlaki had made contact with two of the 9/11 hijackers when he was in San Diego.

He denied any knowledge of the hijacking plot and was never charged with any crime. After an intensive investigation by the FBI , Awlaki moved to Yemen.

People who knew or worked with Hasan say he seemed to have gradually become more radical in his disapproval of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

On Sunday, Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) called for an investigation into whether the Army missed signs as to whether Hasan was an Islamic extremist.

"If Hasan was showing signs, saying to people that he had become an Islamist extremist, the U.S. Army has to have a zero tolerance," Lieberman told Fox News Sunday.

Army Chief of Staff

A fellow Army doctor who studied with Hasan, Val Finell, told ABC News, "He would frequently say he was a Muslim first and an American second. And that came out in just about everything he did at the University."

Finell said he and other Army doctors complained to superiors about Hasan's statements.

"And we questioned how somebody could take an oath of office&be an officer in the military and swear allegiance to the constitution and to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic and have that type of conflict," Finell told ABC News.

The Army Chief of Staff, General George Casey, raised concerns over the weekend that innocent Muslim soldiers could suffer as a result of the shooting at Fort Hood.

"I think the speculation (on Hasan's Islamic roots) could potentially heighten backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers," he said on ABC's "This Week."

We know that he was a muslim and has muslim ties blah blah blah.......

There is a LARGE group of muslims that hate us and want us dead, but not all of them do.

That's all me and GM were saying.

Some of us get accused of being trolls when we voice our opinion, while people on this site who talk all the time...well its ok for them to do it :)

With all that is coming out about how much was known about this guy I can feel a bunch of law suits coming.

I guess since timothy mcvay blew up a government building we should ban all white catholics from serving in the military. Or maybe we should ban all people of german dissent becuase Hitler killed millions of Jews in WWII, a white supposedly christian man. Isn't discriminating against an entire religion based on the actions of a few extremists kinda frowned upon in the Bible, let alone two wrongs don't make a right.

Also, didnt know we were at war with Muslims, i thought we were at war with terrorism?:fie::fie::fie::fie:

ditto

I said it before and I say it again: If you're Muslim, I don't trust you.

That's my attitude and it will not change until the "moderate" Muslims (do they really exist?) stand up and LOUDLY proclaim their antipathy for the radical element. Furthermore, they MUST assist in rooting out the terrorists in their midst.

Until then, if you're around me and you're Muslim, I will be closely watching you. Don't like it?...tough. It's called "situational awareness" and it applies, IMHO.

Well he was white. At least you got that part right. Sense you may might know what a Christian is I can understand that might for some strange reason think Hitler was Christian. Some of you should talk to a lady that I know. She spends about half the year here and the other half in London. The Muslims have just about taken over. There is one section of London that is all Muslims. You don't go in that section of the city unless you are Muslim or are tired of living. Even the police stay clear of the area unless they absolutely have to. The Muslims are pushing hard to have Sharia Law adopted. But hey believe what you want to. It is obvious you have got your minds made up and no one will confuse you with the facts./I]

Army psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan is suspected of a deadly rampage at the Fort Hood base in Texas.
The personal Web site for a radical American imam living in Yemen who had contact with two 9/11 hijackers is praising alleged Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan as a hero.

The posting Monday on the Web site for Anwar al Awlaki, who was a spiritual leader at two mosques where three 9/11 hijackers worshipped, said American Muslims who condemned the attacks on the Texas military base last week are hypocrites who have committed treason against their religion.

Two U.S. intelligence officials told The Associated Press the Web site was Al Awlaki's. They spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence collection.

Anwar said the only way a Muslim can justify serving in the U.S. military is if he intends to "follow in the footsteps of men like Nidal."
