For all you anti-cop posters

Come to think of it, unions now are just trying to justify their existence and perpetuate the myth that they are needed. I think there is a direct correlation between this and the civil rights movement (NAACP, Sharpton, Jackson etc.). It was beneficial and made necessary changes. It is no longer needed, but the race hustlers have to keep perpetuating the myth of rampant racism to justify their own existence.

Sharpton is just worthless.
Oh, it goes WAY beyond that. He has NEGATIVE value. He's not junk food. He's tainted food. He's the equivalent of the onions that killed a bunch of people and destroyed Chi Chi's.
He:
  • deceives people with a false narrative of police misconduct. There's police misconduct and PLENTY of it... which he ignores ENTIRELY. Instead he holds up criminals like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown as "victims" of anything other than their own stupidity, malice and poor impulse control. I expect cops not to rob, rape, murder or violate people's rights. I don't expect them to allow 300lb dopes to take their guns and shoot them.
  • UTTERLY ignores real acts of police criminality like SOS, the murder of Kathryn Johnston, the Philly bodega robbery ring, and most recently, the guy in the stairwell killed by the NYPD.
  • portrays in racial terms a much BROADER problem, namely that of the police viewing themselves as a class above EVERYONE else, REGARDLESS of race. There are plenty of racists with badges. Experience and observation tell me that there are a lot MORE authoritarians, fascists and garden variety sociopaths.
Sharpton is a godsend to the Augusto Pinochet wing of law enforcement. He's a caricature that allows them to BOTH ignore REAL crimes by cops AND to demand the same sort of inviolate status for the Tony Abbates of the world which he seeks for the Michael Browns.

One can use a troll as a training aid, dissecting its lies point by point for the benefit of those whom the troll intends to deceive. I've done his numerous times in usenet with trolls from NAMBLA and the neo-Nazi National Alliance. It works.

Same cop, same parking lot... Sounds like there needs to be action taken against this one cop so that others don't think this is acceptable. Was there any action taken other than verbal at the scene? Did his boss hear about it? Did he get reprimanded about it in any way? You say he left "humbly", but obviously his attitude wasn't properly adjusted since it happened again 2 weeks later. I personally would make it my mission in life to see the guy booted from the force. I personally don't "donate" to any organization. I will volunteer my time and effort, but it's amazing how many "administrative" costs there are to process your donation.
Experience tells me nothing would happen to this guy if there was a complaint. Nothing ever happens.

Sometimes the solution needs to be a socio-political one.

Make sure the cop is WELL known, both to his superiors and to the public at large... and not in a good way.

I'm sure it wouldn't take long for me to build him a website... I'm just not so sure he'd LIKE it.

Video him in action and put it on the web.

Go to city council meetings and discuss him at length and by name during public comment periods.

Make it not worth it to employ him.

That's pretty defeatist. You say it happened twice, that you know of. Probably more. Think about the person that finally turns in a child molester. Seems that once it's out in the open other victims come out of the woodworks. Just takes that one person with the conviction to get the ball rolling.

And just exactly as I would've predicted, your criticisms land on the victim of cop abuses rather than on the cop, or on the wider system that is wholly incapable of policing itself.

BC is right that nothing would happen because what that cop did is seen by the system as him "doing his job." That phrase can encompass any action by cops from lying about RAS to "justify" a stop & frisk for an otherwise illegal contact, to killing an unarmed man, and literally anything in between. BC's description of his wife's incident and the Garner killing illustrate both extremes of that point as clearly as the nose on your face. But as always, one has to open their eyes to even see the nose on their own face.

The problem isn't BC tending to his own life and family instead of pursuing some petty slap on the wrist for an abusive cop that could just as easily get away with beating the crap out of him or his wife for retribution the next time, the problem is that, as I've said over and over, 1) It is literally impossible for cops to pull a shift anymore without violating The People's God-given rights, and 2) It is likewise impossible for a wholly corrupted and usurped system to police itself. That's where the problem lies, not with the freakin' victims of the abusive hacks who are supported by the ubiquity of those problems.

I have to live in that little hick town. There's only a handful of cops and they're too tight.

We need the police but we also need them to adhere to the law too. What happened to those two cops in NY was reprehensible and pathetic but there are many out there that feel that they are above the law and abuse people's rights and these are the ones that should be removed from the force. These gestapo style police that step over the line of the law are no better than common street thugs and deserve what they get whether a bullet to the head or relieved of duty. I think DHS has something to do with the rising militarization of the police (part of the commie agenda) and intend on using them against gun owners, Christians and others that rebel against the coming totalitarian nwo regime. We are being conditioned to accept this unlawful use of excessive force by the police and I think that departments may be hiring trigger happy mental rejects for the job as well. Indiana has enacted a law stating that if you feel that your rights are violated and life or limb are in danger from police you can use deadly force. All states should enact some law like it in my opinion then maybe cops might have second thoughts about giving you an azz whoopin' or lighting you up with tasers for asking why you were pulled over for no reason, for filming them or for refusing to give ID when no crime has been committed or for refusing to comply with any order you feel is unconstitutional. A conflict is coming whether it be a revolution or an engineered race war and if you are a cop what side will you stand with? Those you swore to protect or the fascist new world order power elite?

I'm pretty sure they will mostly follow whoever signs their paycheck.

Your probably right but when the SHTF it will likely be due to an economic collapse and therefore pay will be suspended in many occupations. No pay, no worky.

But that's not what happened in New Orleans during Katrina, is it?

The NOPD stayed on the job to a man rather than stealing, deserting, committing a series of murders and engaging in a protracted coverup, RIGHT?
