What's The Most Popular Concealed Weapon Handgun Caliber?

A .45 would seem to be the first choice, but most are too bulky to be comfortable CC weapons. Anything smaller than .357 would do little to deter an assailant. 9mm or .40 seem like they would have the most options of small size but effective stopping power.

No, I don't carry but not for lack of desire or actually having a weapon, I just simply cannot afford the $$$ involved in obtaining the required permit. I look forward to when I actually can.

I think all in all a person should carry what is comfortable for them or just what they have. I would love to carry my 1911 but I am a small framed person and I just cant hide a large pistol. Wish I could!

45 and only 45. I have 4 different barrel lengths of 45 ACP and a few SAA's in 45Colt to boot.

Bersa Thunder .380 and Ruger SR9c 9mm both have my trust.
Bersa is easy to conceal and I carry IWB most of the time. SR9c is slightly larger but still easy enough to conceal IWB.
If I want something smaller then the Beretta Tomcat .32 acp

In Santa Clara county, Calif. there are only 200 CCW issued for a population of over 1 million. So the answer to your question is YES very difficult to obtain a CCW in Santa Clara County, CA!!!

I carry a ruger LC9, I would love to carry my Springfield 1911 but I am a small guy and its hard to carry such a large weapon. Sometimes when clothing dictates, I carry my LCP. No matter what I always carry 24/7 if law allows.

I carry a 9mm makarov pistol, so my ammo is 9x18 instead of 9mm 9x19. I know magazines advertise and that is how they make money. My makarov is military surplus ,but it is one nice shooting little gun. I have a CCW in Tn. My gun fits in my pocket or lays on the console of my SUV. I am thinking about getting my wife the same thing to carry. In Tn you can carry openly or concealed.

I have a Makarov 9x18. It is one sweet shooting little pistol. Alot of people over look mil surp pistoles for carry weapons. I also have a P-64 in 9x18 (Polish pistole) which is a Walther clone and also a good shooter.

Just depending on how I feel, Colt Mustang Pocket Lite in 380, SIG 229 in 357SIG, but now since I got the Kimber it will be 45 most of the time.

I carry all 3 calibers depending on my mood for that particular day.

i'm going to vote for .380 reason being it's my only gun but if i won that giveaway that ruger would be my favorite carry piece and i think it's a 9mm too
