does anyone have the law saying a gun owner will always be held accountable if a crook busts in their home steals their gun then hauls off and maliciously murders someone with it?
reminds me of an incident when we were kids......my brother about 11 or 12 at the time found my fathers old service gun and took it to the park to show his friends.. someone saw the kids playing with the gun and called the cops..the cops took the gun and questioned my father. my brother got a stern talking to and my father lost his gun to the police that day. my mom seemed glad they took it.....don't know if he ever got his gun back or not or he just let them take it being he had 6 children living at home then and wasn't one to be teaching his children to use a gun either. but still it don't make sense to condemn a citizen who had his gun stolen from his own house all because some crook come in and stole it and later used it to commit a crime.........even if the gun was in a safe they can usually be opened by crooks and i consider my house a safe as i do keep it locked well when i'm not home ......

It depends on the state and it depends on who stole it.

In California (The Peoples Republic of California CCCP) if a kid gets your gun and uses it then there is a penal code felony section that pertains to you.

I don't know if Florida is the same way.

That's not the same as having your residence broken into and the firearm stolen, let's not confuse the two.

Load of bull? How do you own a gun and not no that. That was taught in CCW class. Your a idiot. Its illegal to keep a pistol not locked up. Even if its not illegal witch it is why wouldnt you lock your guns up? You will be prosecuted along with the killer who used your gun.
