we got our permits/licenses to carry today

shame they don't make the crook who steals a gun from someones house responsible......perhaps we need to see about getting that law changed! i've had this gun for over ten years in a shoebox without incident and intend to keep it safe in my locked house in the meantime until i can get a few good safes.....as already mentioned that IS something i'm working on.

How to own a gun and not have a safe? You all saybright mindset until a 2 time loser breaks in and steals her gun. You relize its illegal. You need to have your guns in a safe for when you leave the house. If your gun gets stolen and kills somebody your responsible

What a load of bull

Load of bull? How do you own a gun and not no that. That was taught in CCW class. Your a idiot. Its illegal to keep a pistol not locked up. Even if its not illegal witch it is why wouldnt you lock your guns up? You will be prosecuted along with the killer who used your gun.

if someone steals your vehicle and kills someone while using it, are you going to be held responsible?
i don't think so and i don't think that goes for guns either esp if it's stolen from my locked up house. but it would probably be hard to get it back anytime soon is my guess

News to me...

Guess I need to lock up that old rifle hanging on the wall lol

even though it's not a law to have your guns in a safe..it is something i would like to get in the near future but for now at least it's not in a shoe box anymore... had that same shoebox for over ten years too lolz. but glad to finally got rid of it.. i have a holstered fanny pack and a nice padded and zippered gun case for it now so i'm moving on up toward my gun paraphernalia goals slowly but surely and those safes in the giveaway would be perfect for my needs no doubt but if i don't win them i will probably purchase similar in the near future

Congrats on your new LTC for your CCW.

This makes you a deadly momma.

Just remember, the gun does not draw itself, point and aim itself, and shoot for itself.

You need to take classes, and you need to practice, and you need to develop a mentality, or else you will hesitate.

Also, stay out of those seedy pickup bars.

Good luck, and stay safe.

Actually, sweetie, now that you have a gun, you really do need a good heavy gunsafe to kept it nestled. Unless it is your only gun, and you plan to keep it on you 24/7. In that case you can always leave it in locked in the trunk of your car if you need to go to court, the police station, church, or while at work.

If you leave the gun someplace, make sure it is unloaded and you have the bullets with you at all times.

Never store guns and ammo together, unless it is in a locked gunsafe.

seedy pickup bars......rotflmao those days are long gone i don't frequent those like i done in my younger days but was fun while it lasted

It depends on the state and it depends on who stole it.

In California (The Peoples Republic of California CCCP) if a kid gets your gun and uses it then there is a penal code felony section that pertains to you.

I don't know if Florida is the same way.

I saw a list once of true pickup lines that singles would use if they only could ask what they really wanted to know.

Cant repeat it here though because the mods have stipulated that this is a family show with minors.

no kid is going to get my gun shoobie but like i said i do have a gun safe on my bucket list of things to get....

i had a funny book of pick up lines years ago. wished i could remember some of them as some were pretty darned funny!

Not to jack your thread, but for me, I go to bars to drink. Not to pick up women.

So if a babe wants to be picked up by me, she needs to sit down right next to me and at least stare directly at me.

Several have. That's their "pickup line." It's called body language. Body language does not lie.

I like Brat Pitt's line in the movie Troy: "What's your name?"

It was spoken to Briseis the captured temple priestess, and one of several women who might qualify as the original "Homer" which name means "hostage" in ancient Greek.

if i do go to a club it's to dance or to meet someone for business or pleasure or both......but i never have more than one alcoholic beverage when i do go to a night club anymore which is very seldom now as well. i done sowed my wild oats in my more youthful days.......and glad i did been there done it over it ....but was fun while it lasted..i used to shoot a pretty good game of pool back in the day too ......been years since i picked up a pool cue too not that i wouldn't as i always liked that game.......now i sit on line and play chess for free........in the comfort of my own home too .........can't beat that with a stick :girl_wink:

the 2-3 hour class alone to apply for the permit was 50 dollars.....the permit fee was 117.00 and gun and gear and training classes are expensive too no doubt. i'm going to a highly recommended class this sunday both my son and i are going. it was 90 dollars for each of us and regular price was 120.00 we will be put in different scenarios hands on with others using airsoft guns and moving targets too so we both look forward to that ......my son played paintball for years and knows guns... it will be an all day thing with an hour lunch break. it will be my first organized training class for me. it will show me what i got and what i need to work on and then i will just go from there take the steps i feel i need or could benefit my gun slinging skills as i go .....never thought guns could be fun before. but i do look forward to that and going to the shooting range

You're the one who doesn't know what he's talking about junior and your juvenile tirade doesn't change that.
