my sons pic looks really handsome.......mine looks like a mug shot lolz
but it is what it is i just tucked it behind my driver's license and sitting on it now heheh
117.00 usd for a piece of plastic when a copy of the us constitution should have sufficed
 
Congratulations EE. Now employ that right wisely, as I am sure you will. Oh, and why do so many of gov. photo IDs look like mugshots?
 
Glad it finally arrived. But... if the picture is bad you could reject it and sit for another photo-op and go through another wait.
 
i'm not going to return it for a bad picture hopefully no one will see it anyways. i have it stashed behind my driver's license which also has a terrible pic on it but not as bad as the ccwp pic... lol
my sons pic it great.... but he's young and handsome anyways
i just holstered up and going to learn to get used to doing that every day now except when i go to south america later this month i will leave the ccwp gun and gear at home hidden well enough hopefully

no i don't have a safe yet ;( but do need to get one for sure! as well one for the vehicle....... i'm still hoping to win that giveaway! if not i'm saving all my money to make it happen soon. i still owe on my credit card this month and don't want interest payments ..hopefully not too late but i trust all goes well and safe in the meantime and i'll cross bridges as they come best i can
thanks for the concern i feel same concerns and know it's something i need to do for certain and soon imo

I think you have the right mindset anyways. The safest place for your firearm is on your person. It seems you do not have any children around anymore. It is nice to have a safe, but just keep that safety mindset and you should be all good. I totally agree with your OP...congrats on getting your permission slip, even though you should have had that right to begin with ya? :) Good day.
 
yup i have it on my person now as i type this. makes me want to go to the range though lolz.......no children here but my son is here and will be watching the place while i'm in peru too..and neighbors too.....someone has to feed my cat ....meowing out loud! i had this ol gun for over ten years now and i always kept it in a shoe box till recently i got a nice zippered case for it and a fanny pack but that don't lock it up unfortunately
but i'm saving for a safe and vehicle one too as it's smart to have both if i'm going to be a gunslinger now i want to have what i need to safely rest my gun when i can't carry it or have it nearby.......
 
How to own a gun and not have a safe? You all saybright mindset until a 2 time loser breaks in and steals her gun. You relize its illegal. You need to have your guns in a safe for when you leave the house. If your gun gets stolen and kills somebody your responsible
 
shame they don't make the crook who steals a gun from someones house responsible......perhaps we need to see about getting that law changed! i've had this gun for over ten years in a shoebox without incident and intend to keep it safe in my locked house in the meantime until i can get a few good safes.....as already mentioned that IS something i'm working on.
