You deserved worse than that, and the peaceful, capable-of-discussing-the-issues-without-going-off-the-deep-end posters around here deserved better than that.

I will also admit that I allowed problems in my personal life to get in the way.

Yeah, freakin' insanity is indeed a personal problem that does tend to get in the way of acceptable behavior. We've all got problems. You're the first one I've ever seen wish a violent death on someone and then try to pass it off as "allowing" their personal problems to be the cause of it though. I wonder what I might be able to get away with if I played the personal problems card as justification for it....Hmmm.....The possibilities are nearly endless, just like mine and everyone else's "personal problems." Po' po' pitiful you, eh? Pffft. Grow a pair.

At first I thought the same thing. I even thought maybe if the first two shots hit her and then he was slowly walking behind her, sickly taunting her right before execution then maybe I would act but there are too many unknowns if i just happened to be walking in the parking lot at that moment. Lets say he found out that the ex wife had helped her brother rape the husband's daughter or maybe she cooked their baby and fed it to the husband like a woman did that now resides at Leath Corrections. Of course it would be a justified shoot but just maybe it would be best to wait before putting some bullets into the wrong person. Just throwing some stuff out there for debate. Also, I assume his actions would be the same in the story just one of us happened to be sitting in our car or walking into dennys.

So many possible variables a black and white answer to cover them all is impossible.

I agree(d) with what you say here KK, which is why I responded as I did above. To be fair though, a personal apology was subsequently offered in another thread after I continued with linking to the offending post here (as promised) in yet another thread. While I did respond that I will watch to see how reliable and/or long-lasting his apology turns out to be, and I will without any further cross-posting harassment etc., I have to admit that I'm skeptical. But for now, a truce has been called. I really appreciate your post though. Thanks for it.

Well the guy didnt know it. As the story goes he said that was a nice meal, honey. Where's the baby? Her reply: You're eating it. Last i heard about it he was at a mental hospital.

I've read every page of this thread and although I didn't comment on charles mansen's death threat at the time, I really expected him to get a permanent ban. If the guy has any self respect, he should have apologised privately (which you say he did) and then just stayed off the board or at least stayed quiet. Showing his face and saying I'm back took all of the sincerity he had a chance of obtaining an threw it in the shi77er.

I appreciate the sentiment, Brit. Couple of minor corrections though. He did not apologize via PM, but he did address one to me by name in another thread.

Also, I wouldn't call what he said to me a death "threat." It was a wish for my death, but not a threat that he stated he would be willing (or capable of) to carry out himself.

Otherwise, I tend to agree with your assessment, but I'm OK with starting over after his personalized apology. I'm skeptical like I said, but I'll stick to my word and not goad him anymore.
