A friend told me this story today so I wanted to share it. The story is not news worthy and would never get reported anyway. Why? Because it doesn't involve a cop doing something wrong.
Those of you who are anti-police might want to shield your eyes from what the police officer told my friend.
Here's the story:
Without giving away certain specifics of where it occurred, Ill tell you about the conversation. My friend was nervous about carrying into a sporting event that may subject people to a pat down or metal detecting wand at the entrance. Carrying concealed with a permit into the event is legal under the law, but the team and people running the event may not allow it in their stadium. However, my friend decides to strike up a conversation with a police officer working the event to see what he thinks about it. This is where the anti-police need to look away: In reference to carrying a gun, the cop said "It's in the Bill of Rights, if police get to carry them, then so should other people".
