Should staff and teachers be able to carry in Schools?
.
Of course. Just as any other person with a CCW should be able to.

I am a college prof.

I've been a CCP holder for 2.5 years. I have been carrying on campus for the last 3 months. The final decider for me was the ultra violent attack at the Nigerian mall.

Some day Islamic terrorists will conduct a large scale attack on a mall or school. Or maybe just a psycho. We'll will lose a lot of people.

It wasn't an easy decision for me. I'm not really a gun person, interested only in self-defense. And most of my colleagues are quite liberal and very anti-gun. Here is is LEGAL but if I am ever 'made' there'll be hell to pay.

But I'm no longer willing to be helpless.

I just retired from the military and, to be perfectly honest, since the Ft Hood shooting I was never unarmed. There IS a purpose for pocket carry and .380s.
