Worked for Brinks for five years. Regardless of what Deserteagle fantasizes that he knows about it, it's no different than runnin' any other kind of freight, except you wear your weapon openly instead of concealed and get a little different training schedule.

A major security threat arose in the branch I worked in, and it didn't get resolved to my satisfaction, so I split. Not getting into the details, but the corporate security department was involved, as well as the corporate legal department, and they blew the investigation. Just be careful. They will support the bottom line over your security if the two are in conflict.

May not have to wait for something like that to happen though. Brinks could be one of the first victims of the engineered economic collapse in short order.

This is actually on-topic, as it relates to Austin's spewage about "Lets see if we can find a bad apple in your profession." The security threat to which I alluded involved my partner on the truck, one of the other subordinates in the branch office, and the branch manager. I was the one who went to corporate with the information of their possible criminality. Instead of a code of silence "violation," the district manager's beef with me was that I went over his head, which the employee manual gave me every right to do, but he was so pissed at me for that, that he set out to make my life miserable from then on. Meh. I walked away, but I did the right thing before leaving by calling corporate in the first place. When that becomes the visible norm of cops towards law-breakers in their midst, then my vocal criticisms of them will dry up.

One might wonder aloud, Austin, when have you put your job on the line to do the right thing?

A 29 year old male allegedly sexually assaulted a 16 year old female. She came on to me, duh, you are the adult in the situation. You are the one who is supposed to know better, supposed to be more experienced in life situations with the ability to say not me instead of allowing your hormones override your better judgment.

Granted we can't view what this 16 year old looks like, because of her being a minor and it just should not matter. But after seeing what his wife looks like I just have to ask what is this guy thinking. Does this guy have deviate tendencies, I mean really who is going to cheat on someone like her?
