Burbank, CA checking in

Yes, I'm from Burbank, CA, which is in L.A. County in the People's Republic of California. I feel like I'm writing to the "real world" from behind enemy lines. However, I guess you could say I'm an optimist!
I'm very interested in all of the legal and political wranglings because that is about the only way we're ever going to be allowed CCWs in L.A.
 
Hey! everyone! Been carrying firearms on my hips and in my hands for over 40 years but always just around the farm. Recently got my Indiana LTCH and been doing a little CC and OC in public. Its nice not to have to worry about all the loaded/unloaded/locked up crap that IN puts us through to transport a handgun if you don't have a permit.

Sheesh! Just logged off of InfoWars.com. What a bunch of CooCoos! This place is a little different.

Welcome aboard Willyd. I'm sure you will enjoy the site. I had a 642 and liked the wheel gun very much. It is in good demand and reliable. Recently traded it in for a Kahr PM9 to keep my ammo calibers to two - 9mm and 45. The only reason I traded.
 
Hi, I'm also a new member... I didn't see this "new member" thread. I love guns and am an outdoorsman and am currently working on a concealed carry permit application. I have an appointment to have the application processed on July 7th. (I turn 21 on the 5th and they only process them Tues.-Thurs.) This is an interesting site and there is a lot people can learn from it. I have also been writing my senator(s) telling them NOT to "look the other way" when it came to the 2nd ammendment and explaining to them what it means (or what it SHOULD mean) to every American! I've kind of commandeered the "County by County" thread with my questions... sorry. :redface:
