Hello all, found this site because I am interested in "open" carry. I do have a concealed carry permit but rarely carry. My carry gun is a para-ordanance warthog 45. I live in Ohio. My hobbies are shooting, camping and off-roading in my jeeps.

My friend Steven had one of those. He died 5 years ago. I helped sell all his guns to pay some of the bills and start a savings for his son.

Just a short post to say Hello -- I currently live in the Rochester area of New York. And while I have never carried a gun except to the range, I believe each state should be required to accept your state of resident CCP just as each state accepts your state driver's license - period.

We travel Colorado (among other states) often. Good to have the re-assurance that when we are visiting, there are any number of 'concealed carry' in the populace. With the courts endlessly re-cycling into the general population, Career, violent, Repeat Offenders, It is our Only assurance. Our Omega Defense..

I just found this site. Looks to be a thriving community for gun folks. I admit I was "iffy" on gun rights not too long ago but I came to my senses!! I just received my SC CWP this week and I'm still looking for a carry gun. Hope to learn a lot from the collective :biggrin:.
