Musing on Boston 'Lockdown' and Door to Door searches

Don't worry, obamacare limits the price the hospital will charge us for his care... Unless there's an exemption for felons in there... To be honest I think the cops did try to murder him and were as surpised as anyone he survived having read varying reports stating anywhere from "a few" to "around thirty" to "what sounded like a hundred" shots into the boat where he was already lying unresponsive and near death.

Yeah, that part about the arrest did surprise me, too. Seems a bit ... trigger happy.

So we just got done having our "gun control" debate and waste of time in congress and the theatrical gimics of the garbage in the whitehouse, as they all "fed" off the carcasses of 20 dead children at Sandy Hook and told all of us that they want total gun control that leads to confiscation of our firearms. Now, in Boston, you are suppose to lock your door and stay inside and if we do end up with no firearms, we are suppose to follow their commands to stay in our home unarmed. May I humbly ask how quickly the police will arrive at my house if the BG should break in now that I am unarmed and unable to adequately protect myself and my family. The sheer idiocy of this gun control crap and what has been happening in Boston is incredible.

There is that. On another forum somebody actually posted a response from a Bostonian that read to the effect of "Thank you very much I don't need a gun to feel like a complete human being. I leave that line of work to the professionals that will do their best to protect the public!"

Not only did that person not realize that the police does NOT have a duty to protect them but they also failed to realize they are almost guaranteed as best as they try to not be present when somebody kicks in that person's door. In fact once the cops do get there, said person needs to careful not to be mistaken for the attacker and get shot himself.

There is only ONE person that will always be present if you are attacked. ONE person that knows who attacked whom, where when and with what and whether or not lethal force is appropriate. That's, well, YOU. Too many people just can't see that simple fact.

More irony for y'all:

These two photos are from the Russian occupation of Chechnya, which the Tsarnaev family fled.

Now these two photos are from Watertown, where the Tsarnaev's ended up.

And to think we scoffed in classic distrust at Russia's move towards Western-style "democracy." Apparently, they were way ahead of "us" in their progress towards same. Either that or they defeated "us" while we were cheering the military occupiers of a small hamlet in Massachusetts called Watertown. Take your pick, the republic is dead.

Last picture almost looks like some MRAPs in it.
