Most likely he did have the wrong holster but might have been a gun with a hammer and he had it ready to shoot then having it in safe mode.

Most likely he did have the wrong holster but might have been a gun with a hammer and he had it ready to shoot then having it in safe mode.

Incidents like this are usually a gun being carried in a pocket without any holster whatsoever. It's common enough that I'd actually bet money on it.
