This is my take on all this non-sense, if he called the police like the articles I've read have said. He absolutely no reason to follow the guy, the police said stay put and we'll take care of him. For once let the police do what we pay them for, Martin wasn't even a direct threat to Zimmerman until he went after him.
I hope his ass goes to jail, if Martin came up to Zimmermans' vehicle and got belligerent this would be a whole different story.

The evidence so far supports Zimmerman's story. He was returning to his vehicle and Martin confronted him and sucker punched him, then got on top of him and was beating his head into the ground or sidewalk. Based on the evidence that has been released so far, it was a righteous shoot. Zimmerman was reasonably afraid for his life. New evidence could change that but what has been released so far supports Zimmerman's story.

That's really a bad interpretation of the evidence that is available. The guy took a minimum of 30 minutes (and maybe up to an hour) to cover a 10 minute walk. Zimmerman was following and lost him and was returning to his vehicle. The girlfriend's story (as much as has been released) seems to support Zimmerman that Martin confronted Zimmerman with "you have a problem". There is no evidence of who struck who first but there doesn't seem to be any evidence that it was any different than Zimmerman's story. Martin supposedly sucker punched Zimmerman knocking him down. He then got on top of Zimmerman and was beating his head into the ground or sidewalk (witness has stated that). Zimmerman in fear for his life managed to get his gun and shoot Martin once killing him. So far there is no evidence to contradict Zimmerman's story. It appears to be a legitimate shooting.

i have the skin for it, the constant bickering and put downs for having a different position is laughable at best. there is no room for discussion and no one's views will change from this place. here it seems to be the place for like viewed folks of the only "acceptable" view to give each other high fives and handjobs over propaganda. since there's no discussion, no change, no thinking for yourself...what's the point?

EDIT: if the politics only stayed in the politics section or even the off topic or state threads, this would be a better place. and i only have states on that since political causes make issues in certain states.

Either way, continuing to keep TM in his sight is not a crime. I don't know Florida law, but where I am from I know of no law requiring citizens to obey Dispatch.
In Texas , he would of gone before a Grand Jury where they would hear the testimony and vote to indict or no bill. Listening to the tape, hearing what the witnesses said, hearing George screaming for help on the tape, the photo of the back of his head with the blood. I would vote to no bill. Like Det. Mack Taylor says, you got to follow the evidence.
