Is our world in chaos?

XD: You are the one who appears to have considerable difficulty in understanding what is happening in the world today and, concerning Biblical prophecy, you are at a total loss.
There are more correlations between most works of fiction and world events than the bible.... oh wait I repeat myself

To further indicate your delusional thinking, you try to misinterpret my comparison to carry weapons with NavyLCDR as having some connection with religion. If you can't follow what was said you are indeed off the deep end. I am a Christian and I don't care one bit about what type or caliber weapon you carry.

While I don't recall where you have not made derogatory comments about the caliber I "might" carry, based only on my moniker, other christians have as a way to defend their beliefs and discredit my view. Why would any christian attack based on caliber? I don't have a effing clue, do you, perhaps you should ask them. If anything it shows the desperation of christians to attack based on any perceived weakness, regardless of how irrational it is.

Yesterday's Prophecies - Today's Headlines

Vulnerability is becoming more commonplace in our lives with each passing day. The looming recession, the strange microbes and viruses we're hearing about on the news, the mad dictators testing their hydrogen bombs and long-range missiles, the constant terrorist threats, the specter of war in the Middle East, and politics, and more politics! All the signs of the last days are converging at the same time. Bible Prophecy is happening right before our eyes and like birth pains, the predicted events are happening more frequently and more intently. With so many end times Bible prophecies on the brink of fulfillment, the events that are occurring now on a daily basis can only lead us to conclude that the end of this age approaches rapidly.

The Crisis Awaits

The Crisis Awaits

President Obama recently made the statement, in effect, that anyone who tells us the economic situation in the United States is not getting better is "peddling fiction." This he said despite the fact that the debt clock is ticking at a rate that will soon have Americans and generations to come owing beyond $20 trillion. Extrapolated out over an extended number of years, some economists are saying unfunded liabilities of this nation amount to in excess of $200 trillion. Like it or not, believe it or not, you and I are being swept along by the tide of human history toward something profoundly ominous. Hourly news accounts, no matter how much they've been doctored to try to present a recovering national and global economic picture, engender fearful concerns about things to come. It is almost impossible to grasp the causes and effects of the evil shaping and moving America and the world toward a destiny the supposed best minds on the planet can't determine. However, that inability to define the problems, much less find solutions, doesn't stop them from making seemingly wild stabs at trying to channel all of us into a drastically changed economic national and world order. The corruption that God saw and condemned in antediluvian times, which caused Him to destroy all upon the earth except eight people, has again reached a dangerous level. In my estimation we see this level of power being sought in the words and actions of the current presidential administration. Circumventing the U.S. Constitution at every opportunity because this president has "a phone and a pen" poses a danger to this republic. To at the same time have another branch of government that is supposed to act as a check and balance to an out-of-control executive, yet does nothing to present opposition, creates real and present danger to this nation.

While mainstream media types of network and cable seemingly sway acceptingly in the mesmerizing economic flute notes of the charmer -- the real peddler of fiction -- the immediate future looks ominously bleak, according to true financial experts who are without the benefit of the mainstream's ubiquitous microphones and cameras to get out their warning. The nation and the world are about to experience economic collapse the likes of which has never occurred, is their message. These are most all in agreement. There will come a trigger point, or a tipping point. This will be one moment in time, and it will prick the immense financial bubble that the money powers that be have manipulated to this point of crisis we face. My own belief continues to be that it is God's great hand of control rather than the would-be economic masters that has prevented the bubble from bursting. The crisis awaits the moment in time when the Lord, Himself, will burst the bubble. If one studies carefully the news of late, it becomes clear that the term "cashless system" is coming more and more into vogue. The economic gurus at the highest levels -- in human terms and in supernatural, satanic terms -- seem to be preparing a system of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). They want to do away with physical currency and go to the cashless, computer system so they can carry out their sleight-of-hand, monetary machinations electronically. The marks-and-numbers system of economics of Revelation 13:16-18 is more than just on the drawing board. We are seeing it come to pass in our daily news. All that is required for its implementation is the crisis that will bring it forward. I am convinced that crisis will be created by the Rapture of all who name the name of Christ.

XD You are funny. Well, not really. It has been explained to you on multiple occasions that poking fun at your caliber choice was just that, Poking fun at you. I've never seen someone so thin skinned about criticism. You constantly attack that which you don't understand and then get all psycho when someone pokes fun at you.

We all get it. You don't believe this Christian stuff and you hate us. You say you don't hate us, but your words betray you.

I've asked you what your goal was in all of your vitriol and you have never answered. Did I miss it? Your goal seems to be to waste the time of Christians by name calling and stirring up strife.

I would take the time to explain to you why not supporting the redefining of marriage is not bigotry, If I thought you would understand it. I know you won't even consider it, so why waste my time. I previously addressed why people sin the way they do. All kinds of sin not just the gay thing. You need to go back and read it if you really care to learn something.

I will say that no one is telling anyone who they can love. No one is telling anyone who they can shack-up with. We just are against society changing definitions and embracing behavioral disorders as being normal. It would be more loving to help people escape harmful behavior rather then embrace it.

I guessing that you, a good friend, or a family member is gay. Maybe that's why this is such a sore spot with you. I lost a brother and several friends to AIDS. I did not affirm their gay lifestyles, but I did love them and treat them with dignity. I guess in your mind, I'm still a bigot. Seems like the ones screaming bigot and fighting for tolerance don't tolerate much.

Last chance. Why do you even bother with us? What is your goal? You have to know you have zero effect on damaging our faith and beliefs. Don't you have something better to do with your time?

As Christians, we are called to faithfully share the Gospel in truth and love.

We are not called to threaten or berate or mock or harangue or question others for their lack of belief.

No one can force another member to waste time on reading and responding to posts. We each decide which threads and posts take priority with our time.

Most prophets and witnesses of the past were disrespected (to say the least) during their lifetimes. That's nothing new or shocking, and nothing to complain about in our current witness. As it is, we are blessed to live in a country where we can publicly witness at all. Not all Christians have that opportunity.

Reba: As Christians, we are called to faithfully share the Gospel in truth and love.
TX: True. I've been questioning XD to try and figure out where he is coming from and I am guilty of trying to show him the folly of his arguments. I have been questioning him to try and understand him. I'm not sure if you have read all the way through this thread, but it would help you to better judge OG, myself and other believers who have made attempts to give XD, others a reasonable explanation for our beliefs. Not saying we have handled it perfectly.

Reba: We are not called to threaten or berate or mock or harangue or question others for their lack of belief.

TX: Personally, I don't think I've used any (harangue) lengthy or aggressive speech towards anyone. Passionate, maybe. I'll pray about it. I don't mock XD or others for their lack of belief, just for their constant (intellectually lazy) disrespectful behavior. In social media, this is known as being a troll. Also, he is a fan of 40cal. ;-)

Reba: No one can force another member to waste time on reading and responding to posts. We each decide which threads and posts take priority with our time.

TX: I certainly don't claim that XD or anyone else is forcing me to do anything. I am just trying to figure out what he is trying to accomplish with his behavior. Then I can determine how I want to precede.

TX: I'm not shocked. I appreciate your input. My wife complained to me that I was just casting pearls before swine. I thought I would ask XD a series of questions to find out if that was true. I care about his soul, but I don't want spend my time casting pearls in the wrong place. It sadden's me that he may spend eternity in hell. His heart is pretty hard at this point. I'm praying that God will soften it.

______________________________________________
Question: "What did Jesus mean when He said to 'not cast your pearls before swine' (Matthew 7:6)?"

Answer: "Do not cast your pearls before swine" is a portion of the Sermon on the Mount, and to understand its meaning, we have to understand its context and placement within the sermon. Christ had just finished instructing the crowd on judgment and reproof: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Matthew 7:1-2), and “You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye” (Matthew 7:5). Then in verse 6, Christ tempers these admonitions and shows us the difference between “judgment” and “discernment.”

The analogy of the dogs actually comes from Proverbs: “As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly” (Proverbs 26:11). Swine are also described in this way, as illustrated by Peter: “Of them [false prophets and teachers] the proverbs are true: ‘A dog returns to its vomit,’ and, ‘A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud’” (2 Peter 2:22). The dogs and swine here are representative of those who would ridicule, reject, and blaspheme the gospel once it has been given to them. We are not to put forth the gospel of Jesus Christ in the direction of someone who has no other purpose than to trample it and return to his own evil ways. We identify such people through discernment, which is given in some measure to all Christians (1 Corinthians 2:15-16).

This does not mean we refrain from preaching the gospel. Jesus Himself ate with and taught sinners and tax collectors (Matthew 9:10). In essence, the instruction in Matthew 7:6 is the same that Jesus gave to His apostles when He said, “If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town” (Matthew 10:14). We are not to judge others, for we are guilty of the same things they are. Reserving judgment, however, does not prevent us from discerning those who would accept, or at least respect, the gospel from those who would ridicule, mock, and trample it, and then turn on us and abuse us. Balancing judgment with discernment is the wisdom of serpents Jesus refers to in Matthew 10:16.

What did Jesus mean when He said to "not cast your pearls before swine" (Matthew 7:6)?

Do you recognize that as a group anti-gun liberals represent a threat to the 2A, and our right to keep and bear arms? Do you recognize that it is critical that we (gun owners and 2A supporters) must oppose the agenda of the anti-gun liberals that would love to disarm us? Because as a group they are a credible threat to our rights and freedoms.

We probably won't change the minds of many (I have seen a few change their views) but we cannot remain silent, or at least I can't. I certainly don’t, and work (contacting elected officials, etc.) to demand that they protect my rights and support the Constitution against the ignorance and irrational concepts of the anti-gun crowd.

I see groups that believe they can impose their religious beliefs upon society through civil laws in the same light, a threat to freedoms and our future. I suspect you view and oppose those that believe in other gods and would love to impose sharia law upon you and our society in similar manner.

I thought I would ask XD a series of questions to find out if that was true. I care about his soul, but I don't want spend my time casting pearls in the wrong place. It sadden's me that he may spend eternity in hell. His heart is pretty hard at this point. I'm praying that God will soften it.

Fear not, I will not spend a nanosecond in the fantasy land of any religion, for the very simple reason it is all make believe. Pascal's wager fails completely when the fallacy of religion and gods are understood.

And no my heart is not the least bit hard, but my mind is crystal clear, thus my views.

XD You are funny.
Yep, you're funny to, in your opposition to redefining marriage, when christianity has redefined it many many times.

You can no longer sell your daughter into marriage for three goats and a cow. You do not have to marry your brothers widow. Polygamy is now out.

I have friends that are gay. So what? The are as normal as anyone else, careers, interests, hobbies, happiness, security, financial security, recreation, goals, fears, etc., etc., they just happen to have different sexual preferences, which no more defines them than does your sexual preferences defines you. And for that you believe you have the right to discriminate against them, and deny them rights you and I enjoy?

You make assumptions about what I believe that shows your lack of knowledge and your refusal to carry on a rational discussion. Responding to someone who doesn't actually think about what is written is a fool's errand. You've proven that I need not address your mockery any further.
Mockery? You don't think that the Clinton and the anti-gun liberal loons are a threat to the 2A, and our right to keep and bear arms? Interesting, or are you just denying that for the sake of argument?

This is Ringo's thread about Chaos in our world. I don't want to keep going back and forth with you. How about respectfully disagreeing with us and moving on. You're not doing anything to help with the second amendment on this thread. I won't respond to your scoffing and your poor choice of calibers any longer.
Nope, Ringo may have started it, but he has no ownership. He started it and we can respond or ignore, totally within Luke's control.
I also see no chaos in Ringo ramblings. Lots of natural events, that anyone with a basic understand of the physical world could understand, to isolated examples of people behaving badly often rooted in religion, well seasoned with stupid stuff from idiots.

And no I am not doing anything for the 2A specifically in this thread, that is NOT the purpose of this thread. But I am expressing my concerns regarding a real and present danger to my freedoms and rights, not specifically related to 2A issues. How myopic are you, can you not recognize there are a number of threats out there?

Bible Prophecy fulfillment is in a period of acceleration, a time of "Quickening", the world is racing towards Armageddon. We have entered a generation ( with the re-birth of ISRAEL- 1948 ) like no other generation, a generation that no man has ever seen, a generation like no other time in the history of this world. Since the dawn of mankind, there have always been wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines, pestilences, disease, strange-weather and false Christ's just as Jesus predicted. Fast forward nearly 2,000 years since Jesus made this prediction, and you have today's headlines lining up exactly with the Word of God. The big thing isn't that these events are happening today, it's that they are ALL happening at the very same time! Bible prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes. Fulfilled prophecy is increasing in frequency and intensity just like birth pains, and Jesus said when you see these know that I am near, even at the door. ALL the signs of the last days are "CONVERGING" at the same time. Bible Prophecy is happening right before our eyes and like birth pains, the predicted events are happening more frequently and more intently. Never, in the history throughout the world have so many forces, including economic, scientific, techno-logic, ecologic, cultural, geopolitical, moral, spiritual and religion, converged together to bring this world that's already teetering over the edge into the abyss, to a point of no return. Remember, we are not to take any of these signs ON THEIR OWN. Jesus said ... "when ye shall see ALL these things, know that it is near". (Matthew 24:33). Taking one sign like this on it's own will not prove we are living in the last days. ALL SIGNS need to be fulfilled , ALL IN ONE GENERATION, THIS LAST GENERATION.

How miserable you must be in your self inflicted delusion. How much of your life revolves around searching the internet for this nonsense?

Why are so few voices warning the people about what is coming? We're standing at the door of a period of distress that will be unlike anything that any of us have ever known before. And even though the signs are all around us, very few individuals are willing to stand up and sound the alarm. Instead, there seems to be a large number of people that are eager to criticize the watchmen. It's easy to sit back on your sofa munching on potato chips as the world around you goes to hell, and it's easy to criticize those that have chosen to have the courage to stand up and warn the people. But it's not easy to stand up and say the hard things that need to be said in a society that doesn't want to listen. Sadly, the few voices that are proclaiming the warning message in our society are being almost completely drowned out by everyone else. Just look at our political leaders. None of them are warning the American people about what is really coming. Yes, they're warning that some bad things may happen if the wrong candidate gets elected, but all of them are promising that they can get this country completely turned around if they are elected. Unfortunately, all of them are dead wrong. None of them are going to be able to keep America from experiencing the great storm that is directly ahead of us. The mainstream media is even worse. According to the mainstream media, everything is great and things are only going to get even better in the years ahead. Most disappointing of all are the religious leaders. You would think that if anyone should be “sounding the alarm” it would be them. But instead, ministers all over this country have become absolutely terrified of offending anyone. Church attendance has been declining for years, and most churches are desperate to do whatever they can to keep people coming back and putting money in the offering plate. Many preachers know what is coming, and yet they've willingly chosen to be silent. They know that disaster is coming to America, and yet they've decided not to warn the people.

There are some good churches out there, but in general the church in America has failed. There's very little preaching about sin, repentance or the blood of Jesus anymore. Rather, most of what is coming from the pulpits these days are just feel good messages that sound like they were directly ripped off from the self-help gurus. Sometimes I get frustrated because I wish that I could do a better job of warning the people. But at least nobody can accuse me of not trying to sound the alarm. I'm just an ordinary guy that's trying to warn the people as loudly as I can from my little spot on the wall. People know that they aren’t getting the truth from the “leaders” of our society, and so they're seeking out alternative sources of information. Thankfully, the Internet has allowed ordinary people like myself and others to get the warning message out. As things completely fall apart during the years to come, millions are going to give in to depression and despair. Those people are going to need to know that there is hope even in the midst of all the chaos and all the darkness. My wife and I seek to live in a constant state of “shalom” (the Hebrew word for peace). We're heading for times that are going to be more challenging than most people would ever dare to imagine, but there is no other time in human history that we would have rather been alive for. Knowing whats on the very near horizon our plan is to bring light to a world that will be drowning in darkness. Someone needs to stand up and say the hard things that need to be said. I just hope that I can inspire a few others to come up on the wall and help warn America (and the world) about what is rapidly approaching. It doesn’t matter if your voice is big or small. What matters is whether or not you are faithful with what you have been given. We are already 68 years into This Last Generation that Jesus warned us about, we must sound the alarm while we still can, because time is quickly running out.

"So likewise , when you shall see ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. I tell you the truth, this generation shall certainly not pass away until ALL these things have happened."

Be encouraged. There are many still faithfully proclaiming the Gospel. Maybe not as many as we would like, but God is not worried. :)
