Open carrier robbed of pistol

Is it just me, or does there seem to be way too much emphasis placed on open carry in the news headlines?

I think that's the progressive media seizing any opportunity to harm gun rights.

One might wonder why Warturds didn't choose a similar story that was published the day before the one he did post about. This one out of Memphis. Another open carrier lost his weapon. While in a bathroom stall. In uniform working private security in the local mall as his second job. One might wonder also what this dumbass cop was so distracted by that he missed someone stealing his weapon after he took his duty-belt off (presumably to take a dump I guess, since the story doesn't say) and realized it was missing only when he went to put his belt back on. Maybe the cop was investigating the secret "codes of the stall" that Larry Craig educated America about a few years back? I don't know, but anyway, from the story:

The department has not described exactly how the thief made off with the gun.

The officer took his belt off to use the bathroom, and when he went to put it back on, the gun was missing.

The cop-shop won't identify the idiot-officer. Meanwhile, supposed gun-rights advocates like Warturds are spreading the OC story of a 21-year-old who was robbed of his weapon at gunpoint far and wide and leftist, gun-grabber websites all around the freakin' world are seizing on it to push their gun-grabbing agenda. Actually, I guess I shouldn't even say "leftist" websites, as the kid is being slaughtered on every gun forum and gun-related blog too.

Way to go Warturds! Way to stay sensitive to gun rights! What a freakin' tool.

Or for cops. How many cops been shot with their own gun? I would think more than civilian OCer's.

Would you add those threads to the thousands of posts on the open carry forums about open carriers experiencing nothing but positive reactions (or none at all) during their days of routinely carrying?

I was thinking about adding them to the concealed carry section...but that would probably ruffle to many sensitive feathers...wouldn't want warbirds going off the deep end again and blaming me for getting a response from Luke.

Okay, open carry forum it is. Each day I will provide another concealed carrier being chosen, and a report of how many times I was shot at that day.

I lumped OC'ers with cops because, well, cops OC more than any other group in the world. They OC rifles, shotguns and pistols, and fewer of them die than any other group in America than maybe military personnel. Non-badged citizens die from violence committed with guns at many times the annual rate of cops, and yet cops harass and pull guns on OC'ers every day of every year and then come to forums like this and tell us how "unsafe" it is to OC. They're not only hypocrites, but they're the main reason it's "unsafe" to OC if there's any validity to that claim to begin with! Well, them and the CC-only tools that are out there in overwhelming abundance too.

Except for non-uniformed undercover or detective personnel, cops OC exclusively, yet they die from gunfire at a lower rate than non-LEO citizens and still come to forums like this to tell OC'ers that CC is "safer."

Do you think that the police response to a cop being killed or shot at has anything to do with cops being victims of crimes at a lesser rate than non-leo? Plain Joe Citizen gets murdered and what happens? It might be on the news, depending on who Joe Citizen is. A couple of detectives will gather a little bit of evidence at the crime scene...when they get around to it. After weeks of "investigating", they might arrest somebody.

What happens when a cop gets shot at or killed? Amazing how they can muster all of the police forces in the surrounding areas to track down the perp that they identify within minutes of the shooting and use any excuse remotely believable to kill the perp on sight normally within 24 hours.

I never rely on police to know the law...I advise anyone asking the same to contact a lawyer.
