Walmart Done Went Crazy !

I wish my Walmart had a ammo limit.
I was planing on going shooting since it was a nice 60 degree day here.I went in Walmart Saturday morning. All i wanted was a 500 round box of .22 a 50 round box of 9mm and a 50 round box of .45
Well the guy in front of me bought almost every box of ammo they had left. The prick had the nerve to turn and smile when he heard me ask the counter person for one box off .22

That is the exact type person who is ruining the shooting sport, and showing the Nation that firearm people are just hoarding fools. I saw four boxs of Win White box.45acp at my local WalMart the other day. Since I have enough to shoot on my next range trip, I just left it for someone who might need it. If I had bought any it would have just been one or two. I know others also want Ammo.

Heard Wally World went to the Biden gun talks and is trying to corner a market in background checks or something to that effect

To those that claim limiting ammo sales violates the Constitution, all I can say is this: Oh BS. A private firm deciding that they are going to limit sales to you so that other people can have some of the product has nothing to do with the Constitution. It is people like you that make gun owners look retarded to anyone with at least an 8th grade education. Stop making the rest of us look stupid.

Walmart and pretty much every other store in my area is completely sold out. I think Im going to wait out the storm anyhow. I have a pretty good supply because for the last few years once a month on my walmart shopping trips i would grab a box of some type of ammo.

Walmart hasn't sold handguns in a couple of decades. No background checks for rifles and shotguns out here in flyover country.
Say what??? Unless your permit or license in that state covers it, maybe. But by law there still has to be a Form 4473 filled out on any gun sold by an FFL. And then your license or permit number has to be put on that form. Line 23 on the form.

Limiting ammo sales is a form of censorship, it restricts my right under The Constitution to express myself while defending myself.

I'm having trouble with this one. It doesn't seem to fit.

I actually don't have a problem with limiting quantities based on accessibility as long as it's specifically posted. (I'm not talking about fine print, I mean a real sign.) However, an arbitrary restriction is a different story.

Either way, it's really the store's choice. By setting a limit, they are serving their broader customer base instead of an individual customer. They don't have to let you shop there or stock ammo at all.

reasons like this is exactly why i reload, and lots of it. Sure its time consuming but i can punch out a couple hundred rounds in a couple hours and im good to go. But right now I would be stocking up on everything i could... to bad my ass is deployed and this effin legislation might be in place once i return later this spring...Damn the bad luck...

But I don't get it... Feinstein keeps telling us that more and more people are in favor of a magazine limitation so why would everyone want pallet loads of ammo?

Of course the above just shows how clueless she really is! Guns sales are off the charts!! Ammo sales are off the charts!!
Who the heck is she talking about then when she says thousands of gun owners support common sense gun legislation?

Looks more to me that everyone and their mother is buying up all the weapons and ammo that can be found!

I don't think she is clueless, just a left wing control freak. Her statements are probably factually true, just totally irrelevant. "More and more people ... " That's only two. "Thousands of gun owners support common sense gun legislation." Sure, thousands of us think the Second Amendment is sensible. There are probably over 2000 people in the country who own guns that think the general public shouldn't own a fully automatic .50 cal machine gun. That's "thousands".

Bottom line: She is just an idiot who would confiscate anything that shoots a bullet if she could.

Stupid is as Stupid does.

I expressed that limits would not allow me to express myself and I quote "Limiting ammo sales is a form of censorship, it restricts my right under The Constitution to express myself while defending myself."I have a 1st Amendment right to express myself and if that expression is with rounds of ammunition and I am will to pay the consequences of those actions then it is all on me.
So lets talk about people to try to change what people are trying to say by twisting the words and putting words in peoples mouths they didn't say. Sounds more like an Anti espousing their giberish.
You can go look stupid all on your own OK.

i think the government hoarded it all so to make it hard for us to get any .........my order with midway they say can't be filled till may?? so in the meantime i placed an order with lucky gunner who still has in stock what i'm looking for and they ship the same day in stock items .......best wishes to all..........
the ft lauderdale gun show was jam packed like i've never seen it before lines around the park even all day long both days wow and i noticed alot more women taking the ccwp classes they have there too .........great to see all the people there we decided not to wait and hit the range for a while first we checked back and the lines still a mile long so we took our time and went to eat and came back an hour before the show closed ammo was pretty much sold out that i saw and at least there wasn't a line an hour before they closed ......i wonder how many attended those two days it was incredibly crowded

The local shops here have a 10 box per customer limit on .223, just so they could have some left for other customers. Glad I planned ahead, heh heh... Last time I bought .223 was like 6 months ago, I picked up 1000 rds of PMC 55gr FMJ. Believe it or not, .223 isn't my primary caliber of choice... I'm a 7.62x39 kinda guy.

I did pick up a Spam Can of 5.45x39 the other day, 1,080 rds of Russian surplus for $260... nobody seems to have an AK-74 so I've had my choice of that particular ammo.

If I were you guys, I'd buy every bit of imported surplus ammo your budget allows. I see imports going bye-bye in an AWB... that includes ammo.

I shot up all my 5.45x39 but I have a lot of 7.62x39 also 223. I am holding down my rifle shooting so I don't think it will be a problem for me. Right now it's a Ammo. seller's market so I am just going to watch what happens over this next year.

You have some freakishly dumb ideas going on there. You must have some liberal blood in your veins, conservatives take the bill of rights for what they say. Liberals twist and distort to try to get what they want. You are truly unique, or a lawyer, one of the two.

I spoke with Hornady earlier today, and that's basically what they indicated. It's a matter of consumers buying as much as they can, on top of the millions of rounds that were ordered by the fed at the end of their fiscal year last year. As I posted on another thread, police departments are having trouble coming up with ammo. Too many orders, not enough manufacturing capacity.

Maybe it's time for me to learn to reload?
