what do you think about zimmerman

I think too many ignorant people believe the biased media and judge before all the facts have been presented. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Today everyone is guilty until proven innocent :hang2:

I think too many people let the NRA do all their thinking for them.

I'm not a member of the NRA
I think you like to trololplolololololol
I think I'll go get a snack
I think I'll carry an extra mag with me just in case
I think most members on this forum laugh at you, I do LOL

Perps -- true perps -- normally come around midnight to 3 a.m. Not at 7 pm around the dinner hour when everyone is home and eating and up.

Shoobee, I have to disagree with this statement, when I lived in Tn, there were numerous episodes of home invasions on Sunday mornings when everyone would be at church. Most bad guys seem to be opportunists. Everyone should read the article "When do Home Invasions Occur?" by Jason Hanson.

I'm pretty sure I said it earlier in the thread somewhere, but I've thought the judge in the Zimmerman case has gone over the line a couple or three times about Z. "lying" about the account etc. Well, apparently O'Mara and Zimmerman now agree. A second request for a new judge was filed today.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The ex-neighborhood watch volunteer charged with killing Trayvon Martin asked for a new judge Friday, claiming the current one is biased because he said George Zimmerman had "flaunted the system."

Zimmerman said in a motion he feared he would be unable to get a fair "stand your ground" hearing or a fair trial with Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester presiding over the case. Lester was appointed in April after Zimmerman claimed a potential conflict of interest with the original judge.

Earlier this month, Lester said in an order granting Zimmerman bond that Zimmerman had "under any definition ... flaunted the system" by failing to disclose at an April bond hearing that he had raised $135,000 from donations for his legal defense.

Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, testified at the bond hearing that they had limited resources since she was a student and Zimmerman wasn't working. Zimmerman said nothing to correct his wife's testimony.

That last bolded sentence is what I think I commented on before. I can't remember the exact quote, but the judge said something to the effect of, "He can't just sit there and benefit from his wife's lies."

Couple of problems with that for me. One, when it's his trial for 2nd Degree Murder, he can sit there till the cows come home and not say a word no matter what lies he hears in court. One reason he can do that is because he knew he had those "coded" conversations with his wife in jail, and so if he had spoken up about it, it would've eventually been that he incriminated himself by doing so, and conceivably added a conspiracy to commit perjury to his list of charges.

But two, and more importantly to me, when the judge uses words that conclude that the man lied, he unequivocally relinquishes any claim of objectivity he may have had if he just stayed quiet. Saying he lied is no different than saying he's guilty before any evidence is taken.

I think Zimmerman should get another judge, and a change of venue to boot. Maybe in the wilds of Alaska where no one has TV and limited radio. That's the only way I can see him getting a fair trial.

The Judge is obviously biased, the whole racist profiling spiel has been blown out of the water but Zimmerman must be prosecuted to appease the Black racists and Black apologists. The Government continues it's racially motivated political prosecution.

yup!! I say he did the right thing from what I have seen and heard on the internet. If you have a license to carry just carry all you want I do. But Zimmerman is screwed because it "RACIST" for a white to attack OR yell at a black person. I know Zimmerman isn't white but according to our HNICharge he is. White people don't have any rights anymore.

Are you kidding? All you have to do is not agree with a black person and you are labeled a racist.

If you mean we don't have the right to shoot black people anymore, you are right. This whole thing is happening because the police did not handle the incident correctly at the time. They should have arrested Zimmerman, taken all the correct evidence, including his weapon and clothes. They should have given him a blood test right of way and booked him and then released him on his own recognizance. If they had done all of this , I doubt, given the circumstances that have been stated as to the altercation, that he would have been indicted, but the proper procedures would have been in place and justice would have been served. Because this was handled in such a sloppy manner, the situation was created that allows for a charge of raciism. Good police work, as requested by one of the investigating detectives , would have probably have cleared Zimmerman on the spot , given the freedom of action allowed by Florida law. Zimmerman is in this quandry because of bad police procedures and that allowed the "Race Card" to come into play. The minority groups would still have jumped in but they wouldn't have had the legal or moral hammer they have now. Your best defense is to allow the evidence tell the story. In this case there is little to no evidence involved. The trial will be ineffective because there is no real evidence, only Zimmerman's word and that is getting to be less and less viable as time goes on. If they had arrested him (as the detective on the scene tried) and booked the evidence, I believe he would have walked for sure, as it looks like he probably was within the law when he fired. Now, the group that yells the loudest and gets the most media attention will seal Zimmerman's future.

Yeah just ignore the actual facts of the investigation and the law, go with the liberal media lies & propaganda.

FBI investigation now verifies race was not an issue.

Do you know if that includes the DOJ investigation into civil rights violations? I know the FBI is under the DOJ, but I think the civil rights division is exclusive to the DOJ-level. Just curious. They're gonna find a way to nail Zimmerman one way or 'tother I'm afraid.
