Be very carefull what you hope for my friend. You may be in a position where you are attacked by a strong teenager and have to use your gun in self defense. What the news has failed to tell you is that at the same time this happened there were two teenagers charged and found guilty of murder here in Florida. Let me give you the cases.

One was 16 when he killed the cop. So don't tell me you would not use your gun to defend yourself. Please look at the dates on these two guity verdicts. Same time frame as the Zimmerman/Martin case.

The Zimmerman case could very well be the case they use as presedence for your trial if you ever have to use your gun in self defense. Being stupid doesn't make you guilty of murder or even manslaughter.

Again, be careful what you wish for, you may get it.

The issue of lawfulness or unlawfulness has yet to be determined in court on trial with a judge jury and attorneys trained and licensed by the State Of Florida.

Not by you or me.

If you wanted to serve on the jury at this point you would need to keep an open mind either way.

The state prosecutor has alleged in her complaint that all of Z's actions were so wantonly dangerous that they amount to murder-2.

The defense attorney was probably banking on the credibility of his defendant to give believable testimony on the stand.

By lying in the bond hearing Z has probably shot himself in the foot already as far as any credibility goes.

Fact-Martin is dead from 1 9mm shot to the heart, said shot taking place within 18" of the barrel.
Fact-Zimmerman had injuries to his head and nose.
Fact-Zimmerman gave 5 statements to police over a 3 day time span without attorneys present.
FACT- The prosecution during the charging hearing, their chief investigator says there are no witnesses to say who threw the first punch.


Now any other facts that you have please contact Angela Corey's office cause from the looks of it she needs a witness.

My hope is, if i ever have to use my gun in self defense that you are not on my jury. And I suggest if you ever have to shoot someone in self defense you get someone like me on your jury. I would give you the benefit of the doubt until evidence proved you guilty.

OH an I forgot, Stupidity is not illegal, If it were there would be a need for larger and more jails......JMHO

You can try the case yourself in your head all you want.

It won't matter though.

Current opinions cut both ways.

The trial, if there is a trial, will be riviting and fascinating.

Most experts predict Z will cop to a plea though. And that would be fine with me.

I don't care what the altercation was between Zimmerman and Martin was about. It doesn't matter. What matters contrary to your thought process, is, was what Zimmerman did illegal. Thats all that matters. Obviously that is above your thought plane.

1. George, didn't do anything that a lot of people around here wouldn't do if they saw someone they didn't know, especially if there had been several burglaries lately, or who they thought was acting suspiciously walking around the area. Besides what's been said, most crimes and burglaries are NOT in the middle of the night... many are done in the daytime when people are at work, etc.

2. That Martin told his girlfriend on the phone, "if I see that guy again I'm going to kick his ass", and that's exactly what he tried to do when he saw George walking down the sidewalk returning to meet the police at his truck.

3. Witnesses , support George's story .

4. Injuries support that George, should have been concerned about "serious bodily injury or death" and defended himself.

5. That MOMMA, realized she was not going to be able to sue George and get money , because of Florida's laws. She was so concerned about her son's death .... and grieving so much , that in the first few days she was out filing for "rights to his name" so she could collect royalties off her dead son's name. Her concern was the $$$$ ... she could get out of it.

6. Trayvon.... was not the pillar innocent , nor small child, they wanted to portray. He was getting caught with bags of jewelry and burglary tools and could not explain where the jewelry came from. He had beaten up a bus driver pretty good, wanted to be seen as a bad guy, and involved in having fights and putting them on youtube, as well as .... expelled for possession of marijuana ... no matter what the amount was.

7. The DA filed charges, to satisfy a certain element of the public and for political reasons. The National Attention would further their career.... I'm sure they thought. But, it's such a lame case.... it may be a very 'negative' effect on their career.

8. The anti-gun agenda.... and those who want to play the race card.... are all idiots, and jumped on this like a coyote on a wounded rabbit to fit and promote their agendas... period. Jesse and Al.... saw it as an opportunity to try to be "relevant" again in their life.

George should not take any pleas. It's a water soaked case.... with any reasonable jury, will be found innocent and due to the laws in Florida.... they will have to pay for all of this attorney fees, bonds, costs, and damages.
