AGCM(AW/SW) USN-Ret (E-9)

I started as a weather observer in 1972 and in 1979 became a meteorological/oceanographic analyst forecaster. Served for 21 yrs, 4 months and 5 days, not that I was counting. I retired when I was 38 and now my military career seems like a different life and a different person. I don't regret a day I spent in uniform, but it had become so political I had enough and retired.

I was honorably discharged after 4 years from the US Marines. Some of you would say there was no such rank after I tell you. But you old salts would know why it was. My rank was (Sgt. E4), Simper Fi
 
Usn

NAVY E-6 Torpedomen with twelve years in when I got out, 75-87. Liberals move in, leadership left and I moved on. My respect for all those that have served and those currently serving. Please ALL, FLY the Flag daily. Not just for those that are serving bu for all those that have died for it's cause.

Retired USAF E-7 MSgt 24.9 years active service, retired in 1983. Served in Japan, Korea (4 tours), Viet Nam (66-68). Taught Aircraft Maintenance Technical Training 3/5/7 level courses at Shepard AFB for 10 yrs. Was a Master Instructor.:yu:
 
US Navy: Started at E-1 in 1969 Retired at O-4 (LCDR) in 1991. Retained enlisted status to E-9 (GSCM) until retirement. Nuclear Electrician, Gas Turbine Specialist Electrical, Engineering/Repair LDO. ARS,CV, DE, FF, FFG, AE. Chief Engineer for USS Mount Hood (AE 29) for 3 1/2 years.
 
Honorable discharge after nine years of service as a US Army doc, promoted to O-4 just before discharge from the medical corps.
