With the pending new laws in Connecticut I am wondering if Ruger may be considering a move?

If Conn. has its way they will most likely want Ruger to jump through hoops to ship their product out of their state. Libs are not to smart, they never see any consequences to their actions. Libs seem to think that people and companies will sit still for their regs, rules and meddling. So they just may end up forcing Ruger to move without that being their goal. But then the way lib-o-rats are that may be their goal. Make them close up shop.

Does ruger actually manufacture anything in CT or are they just headquartered there? All my rugers are marked Prescott, AZ.

Ruger is notorious for being pro-gun control anyway...
I think that was more of a fact when Bill Ruger ran the company. The management team running the company now seems like they want to stay in business for a while, and that won't be as likely if the anti gun politicians keep getting away with violating the constitution.

It's not just Ruger, it's Stag, Colt, ASC, Mossberg, And a host of other sub contractors that manufacturer parts for guns that will be affected. This will cripple an already ailing state economy.

If you don't get out soon, you may have to pass through border checkpoints and show your "travel papers" to CT's version of the "Constitutional Gestapo." Yeah, I say that sarcastically, but more and more, it doesn't seem so far-fetched in America, especially in the NE part of the country. Don't be surprised to see sink-holes open up across New England in short order. They won't be caused by silt-based soil, but by thousands of Founding Fathers and the liberty-loving militia-men who fought on behalf of their vision spinning in their graves.

As has been said, I think Post Bill Ruger, Ruger has been more pro business. They are in the business of manufacturing and selling guns. I see all their - lets call them modifications - as necessary for their guns to be available in some very restricted places.
I am obviously pro Ruger and would love to see them make a home here in Florida. We have lots of land here in Citrus County!
I believe Ruger also has a manufacturing plant in Newport, NH - not sure what they manufacture there. This website lists all of Ruger's locations: Ruger Directory

well this wont be true pretty soon,they passed a ban on weapons here in ct. cant buy any,cant move here with one,youll have to sell it to a gun shop or leave it out of the state or make it unusable they said,register my mags over 10 rds.its ********,i think im moving out of connecticut

Ruger also has a major plant in NH. No visible RUGER signs outside, just a whole lot of happy citizens working there.

When I was a young man packing up and moving out of a state may have been an option based on a law I didn't like. Now, there is no option. I guess that puts me at the mercy of Florida and its voters. Florida is fairly pro gun, my Congress Man is 2nd Amendment all the way, and my county is all about outdoor sports. In fact very soon we should have a new outdoor range.
