Will Ruger Leave Connecticut?

I live next town over from Newport, Nh where the Ruger plant is and u r right there are no visable signs identifying it (castings company). they make(as far as handguns)the Revolvers here in Newport and the semi-auto in AZ. Don't think they will be moving from here anytime soon- they are hiring again and calling people on retirement back.Family still is active locally.
NH is a "Live Free or Die" State. We will gladly welcome any other Firearms Manufacturing Companies here.
At 68 I have taken my training , gotten my CC ,done my homework on what I feel comfortable shooting with and am a very happy 1st time Gun owner!!!(no not a Ruger tho that is in the plan).

Ruger is notorious for being pro-gun control anyway...

I beg to differ. I know historically they used to say no law-abiding citizen needed more than 10 rounds, but they've since changed their tone, as is apparent with the BX-25 10/22 magazines as well as plenty of others items. When all this BS started, they actually created a petition page to protect our rights & emailed everyone on their lists to sign it. Yeah, you might say they're protecting their own interests, but it's our interests too. They're on our side.

Well, I wanted to add a Ruger or three to my wall, but I've decided to only buy from those 140 or so companies that have announced they won't sell anything illegal for civilians in a given state to law enforcement there either. I guess if I can consider leaving the state over the anti-gun posture of the Seditionist legislature (seriously, check the definition, they're Seditionists), then Ruger should consider leaving too. They at least already have an alternative location in AZ, whereas I only have one job and will need to find another.

Jason - any updates or additions to that 'we won't play' list of companies?

With the pending new laws in Connecticut I am wondering if Ruger may be considering a move?
I would so love to see them come to Florida.

Now all Connecticut has to do is figure out a way for them to leave their money and jobs and then leave the state. :drag:

I do have to give it to the Great State of Texas. Most times when I hear of a law being discussed its Texas that makes the most sense.
Let free people be free. When ever Government gets their mitts on something our freedom is restricted in one way or another.
Where is it, Maryland, some town made it illegal to have bottled water? I don't much care about bottled water, but when a Hurricane is coming, count me in for some. What a brainless idea.
