For me its my S&W E series SC .45 4inch barrel 1911.

What I see missing, are the Single Action Army's. Not just COLT, But EMF/UBERTI makes a great 3-1/2" 45 with Birds Head grips (Great for Concealed Carry).Although that is only 5 rounds, it is 5 rounds of a 45 hard hitting, heavy bullet. And if you carry a Ruger Vaquero, you have 6 rounds before reloading. I would take those 5 or 6 rounds of 45 over (what is it?) 6 or 7 rounds of 380 any day of the week. Also the chance of a mechanical failure with a SAA is far less than with a Semi-auto. (I am not crazy, as I also carry a FNP45).

Better late than never. How about North American Arms 22 Magnum Revolver? That's what I carry. I've tried
practically everything else and this is the easiest to carry and the least obvious. I don't go Grizzly hunting with it, but for self protection, I think it's enough.

My carry system is a Glock 19 for Fall/Winter, and a Glock 26 in Spring/Summer. Both fit in my KingTuck holster and can share the 19's magazines if needed.
