Thanks for your service to our country. I really appreciate it. I used to represent Disabled Vets before the VA in trying to get the disability benefits that they were promised and that they earned.
Sorry to see that you are totally disabled, but it is nice to see that you did receive your benefits. Remember, you may be eligible for A&A, Adaptive Equipment & Automobile Partial Grants and your spouse and children may be entitled to CHAMPVA and Education Benefits!

I retired from the Navy as a Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman. I avoided larger medical commands preferring Fleet Marine Corps units, aviation squadrons and small ships. Life is very good these days but I do miss the military and the cameraderie it offers.

To both Irishcopper and SgtSki - welcome to the forum. Hope you get a lot out of it. Thank you for your service from an old fat VietNam Vet. Infantry, although I did kind of use your little brothers, I was in 81MM mortars part of the time. H&S 2/7 and then Mike 3/1, 1stMarDiv.

Thank you for your service in the infantry as well. During my career I also spent time with the 25th Marines and MAG 49. I'm enjoying the forum so far and finding it quite informative. Semper Fi!

As the Air Force changed SAC, MAC and Mobile Aerial Ports were disbanded, absorbed or restructured. I have yet to find the comradery I experienced while serving. The possible exception being the years I spent in law enforcement.
