While I'm trying to go through your entire post, I would advise against anyone posting a copy of their CWP on this or any public internet site for any reason. Like I said, if you are who you say you are, my hats off to you for your ordeal and only hope the best.
 
Let me rephrase that

The internet, by its very nature in an anonymous medium where anyone can claim to be anything, Because of this I take just about everything I read here with a huge grain of salt.

I have met quite a few people that have directly taken a human life. Almost invariably it is not an experience they care to discuss. In fact I can’t think of a single person that I know that is really willing to talk about it for any great length of time, certainly not to a room full of strangers.

Because of that I have a very hard time taking this poster at face value.

That said I can’t prove he isn’t who he said he is anymore than he can prove he is. So, I’ll let him do his thing

I will say this, if the incident happened as you related I don't see how there was any option but to fight back.

Having said that, I still stand by my original post which is if it looks like the bad guy is going to walk w/ the money and do no further harm I'm eating my waffles

THIS STORY HAS TO BE TRUE, THIS IS HOW LIFE HAPPENS.

It is never tidy, does not flow like a book, or movie, it is just a mess.

Ok, I’m sorry but that post has succeeded in convincing me that you are either out of your mind or trolling.
I am not a police officer and I have no interest in acting as one. Unless I have no other option I’m not starting a fire fight in an enclosed location. I’m not the punisher, it isn’t my duty to exact revenge against the bad guys
 
Yeah, what Treo said. Jackwagons like those robbers may DESERVE to be shot, but it's not our place to do it unless life is in jeopardy. In this case it was, or at least appeared enough like it was for the actions to be justified.

But if someone is walking away, the threat is over. Now, you can choose to put a bullet in them if you really feel you must, but realize that the law and the jury won't be on your side. You'll be facing prison time and never get to own guns again.

People like to complicate things with emotion, but there's very little room for that in the legal system.
 
If snipingshadow is who he says he is, then, my hats off to ya. You shouldn't have let the second guy get close to you, but overall, well done, sir.

This is all very true and none of it changes my contention that if I have any other optionI am not going to start a firefight. More so a firefight in which I'm going to be out numbered.
