Remember those days when the wind blew a dollar to you? What did you do with it? If you were like me, you tied your shoes and quickly walked past the gangbangers, said no to drugs a few times and went to the gas station for some ho hos. I miss those days. I didnt have a walkman, but lots of dudes had radios so I could listen to music all the way there and back. A few days ago, that lifestyle was pretty much over. If this works out, millions of kids can continue to grow up just like I did.

I personally felt the earth get a lil bit colder when Hostess filed for bakruptcy.

Those good old Twinkies, the two gloden-bars of childhood flavor, and with me into my adult life I've still enjoyed the Twinkies from time to time. But I think greed on both sides has helped in the demise of Hostess and all the good ole' snack cakes we all loved at one time or another. R.I.P. Twinkies, you will be missed!
 
I ain't gettin my SNOBALLS all up in a uproar cause my little twinki is being cut off. My Ho-Ho's will be doing OK south of the boarder away from those evil Ding-Dongs. MO proof dat UNIONS are and can be ANTI business. Heck day almost shut down Da Brown machine a few years back (UPS). You got Unions, you got forced labor. GOT Capitalism?

There was just something awesome about Twinkies. The ones that later came in boxes were always dry and stale tasting, I'm talking about the wonderful twin pack that had some scrolling artwork on the sides of the cellophane....and that mandatory film of grease or whatever it was, both on the cellophane and the cardboard. So wonderfully moist, so fluffy and tasty. And the cream...the cream...that left a greasy feeling on your tongue. Though you could see the three holes on the back of the cake, you wondered how they got all of that cream in there. I usually ate the cake from around the cream first, then ate the cream.

I felt them best washed down with some chocolate milk.

You just knew that this thing so wonderful could not be at all healthy. I guess probably one of the most unhealthy things you could put in your mouth. But who cared? You were in Twinkie heaven!
 
ironic they get rid of great munchie food whilst legalizing pot ??? wtf lolz someone better upstart another munchies making bakery and get those ding dongs back on the shelves ;)
 
Heard a rumor Woody Harrelson is going to rescue Hostess. He just loves those twinkies ya know. I also heard someone in Mexico is looking into buying Hostess, maybe the Chinese will come to the rescue and be yet another foreign owned company to influence our politics.

Hostess does make the best snack cakes and would be a serious loss if they went under.

Isn't is scary how life imitates art? Hmmmm I wonder what is next? Red Dawn? Walking Dead? Revolution?

Now if I lived in Colorado I would really be P.O.ed. They just legalized pot for recreational use and just like that, no more twinkies.

Reminds me of a skit I saw where back in the day when there was actual cocaine in Coca Cola, the country thrived. When they took the coke out of coca cola, the country went into a depression.
 
i think their secret ingredient the coca leaf is still used in that stuff .......the peruvians told me that corporation still buys tons of coca leaf from them.....perhaps they in cahoots with the cia cocaine cartels???

Hostess Bakery plants shut down due to a workers' strike.

It was split up.

The State Department hired all the Twinkies,

the Secret Service hired all the HoHos,

the generals are sleeping with the Cupcakes

and the voters sent all the Ding Dongs to Congress.
