Atheists thrive by being a parasite on Christianity, and mostly target the shortcomings of individuals. Regardless of any evidence you lead them to, you can't make an atheist think. XD40 is so opposed to anything linked to God that his hatred gets in the way of common sense. All lies begin with self-deceit. Gee, I guess the war has started but I am not quite sure what all the fighting is about. If one says he is a horse's patoot, fine, he is a horse's patoot. No argument. If one says he is an atheist, fine, he is an atheist. Again, no argument. If one says he is a Christian, fine, he is a Christian. Again, no argument. So....what difference does it make (sounds like Hillary)? I have tried to find a good definition of an atheist but all I have found thus far is that they have a lack of belief in gods and supernatural beings. They have no common belief system or written dogma and, often, have a general disagreement with each other. There is no standardized belief or disbelief system, only a general aversion to Christianity. OK, if you don't believe in Christianity, why do you bother to try to discredit all Christians? At the same time, if you don't believe in atheism, why do you bother to constantly criticize and discredit them? Neither side will ever be able to persuade the other of which is right or wrong when barbs are constantly being tossed. So...we all wind up being horse's patoots constantly slinging **** at each other.

To me, as a Christian, it is the person who disbelieves in the face of strong evidence supporting Christianity who is really intolerant and closed minded. The rejection of Jesus Christ, in light of all the archeological evidence and written manuscripts available today, is, to me, nothing more than a refusal to believe, a matter of willing to be wrong rather than admit the evidence is available to show the truth.

Many hate purely because they think (or have been taught) that their bible mandates that they hate those that are different, or have different views. Whom they hate doesn't seem to matter, atheists, jews, gays, etc., and none of which have done or even threatened them in any way. It's too politically incorrect at least express hatred against blacks any more, but it is the same mind set as the raging racists of 50 - 60 years ago, hatred that was probably just learned at home. And I suspect that some still seethe with hatred for blacks, but have learned to control expressing their views due to the backlash because it is so politically incorrect today.

Truth sucks don't it? There is no hypocrisy, just the reality of the behavior of people afflicted by such beliefs. Hate of those that are different is the typical reaction of fundie christians, how it is expressed is the only difference. Yes, and he is pushing others away from Christ...acxx saw this a few months ago. Atheists may hold a strong opinion, but it's very clear the trolls are theists here.

SR9 can't even tell who is a theist and who isn't...it seems you can't either...his Christianity seems to be based around himself...same goes with his desire to be taken care of by the government. If Jesus taught free will and selflessness, what would you call SR9s entitlement and selfishness?
