Explain how you know with absolute certainty that it's fiction? For all you know you're merely a virtual object in a computer simulation. Perhaps an alien ant farm? It's bad enough that the formerly great History Channel has abandoned history for fiction, and worse that they've chosen the most ridiculous kind of fiction of all--biblical fiction--as the basis for its programming.

"I tell you the truth, this generation (beginning in 1948) will certainly not pass away until all of these things have happened"

We're gonna wait forever for that answer. It's not coming.Explain how you know with absolute certainty that it's fiction? For all you know you're merely a virtual object in a computer simulation. Perhaps an alien ant farm?

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Thus neither argument is supported by evidence. Thus either could be true. As hard as that can be to understand. If we're an alien ant farm I wonder what they say about us... "Look at these humans. They create something as intelligent as the internet and then use it to perpetuate the flaws in their personalities. Interesting species these humans." :yes4:What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Let's see what happens when we cut electricity to their block (Twilight Zone episode).
I would suggest that the time span of one biblical generation (51 1/2 years according to the most recent research) has already passed. The focal point of Christ's remark is NOT that the Jews would regain their homeland but, instead, 'WHEN YOU SEE (ALL) THESE THINGS' WHICH PRECEDE CHRIST'S REMARK in Luke 21:28, THEN is the time for faithful believers to, 'lift up their heads'. Me? I strongly suspect that, at the present time, mankind is no more than entering into, 'the time of the end'. Furthermore, I, also, suspect that it's going to be the children of today's present, (breeding) 'wicked and adulterous generation' who will - if they survive - witness Earth's final cataclysmic events.
Exactly...that's why there is no rationale basis for believing in any of the 10,000 plus supernatural beings created by humans.
And questions are not evidence of anything other than lack of knowledge by the person asking the question - as in "if there is no god, then who created the earth?" The only correct answer is that the person asking the question doesn't know the answer (putting aside the incorrect assumption that it was created by a "who" in the first place.)
Given the total lack of any evidence of the existence of any god, there are two possibilities:
1. there is no god.
2. there is a god but it purposefully didn't leave any evidence of its existence because it didn't want the people it created making up BS about it, and it has a special place in hell for all those who have.
If a person adhering to chose 1 is wrong, they still get to go to eternal happiness because they didn't make up BS about a god that didn't want people making up BS about it.
The number of people in hell is so much more than the number of people who think their bogus stories about the ONE TRUE God are going to get them into heaven.
