Signs of the End of the Age & The Last Generation

Scripture reveals even more about the prophetic meaning of the Feast of Trumpets. This feast points forward to a time when Israel will be gathered back to the land (Isaiah 27:13). Ultimately, it points to an instant when the Body of Messiah will be gathered, or “caught up” to meet the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
Trumpets were used in Scripture for many occasions and purposes:
• A call to assembly
• A command for Israel to move out
• A call to war
• Preparation for an announcement
• A warning of judgment to come
• A call to celebration and worship
Whenever these silver trumpets were blown either for assembly or alarm, for worship or for war, the redeemed of the Lord would respond.
Even as resurrection is a concept taught throughout the Scriptures (Daniel 12:2), there is an aspect of the resurrection heralded by the Feast of Trumpets. This
mystery is known as “the Rapture.” There are two portions of New Covenant Scripture that deal with this future event, and in both we see the trumpet involved:
Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed... (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
Paul also writes:
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
One day the trumpet of God will sound, and we should always be ready to respond.
the Feast of Trumpets is meant to provoke us to readiness and service. We are “looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Messiah Yeshua” (Titus 2:13).
This expectation motivates lives of service before the Lord. As John writes in his first epistle:
Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1 John 3:2-3)
The Trumpet of the Lord will not only be the call for believers to go and meet the Lord in the air, but that same Trumpet will be the catalyst for the last seven years of this present age, the period known as “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7). It is this period that our Lord Yeshua referred to when He said:
For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall. And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short. (Matthew 24:21-22)
It is difficult to imagine the sheer terror that people who are left will experience just at this time. Suddenly, without any apparent warning, millions of people will disappear from Planet Earth. In mid-sentence, midstride, loved ones, children, spouses, friends, co-workers all simply vanish. On a societal and governmental level, chaos will ensue.
 
Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22)
This is why the Lord promised through Ezekiel “I will give you a [new] heart of flesh.” In this context “heart” refers to a person’s nature. A hard-hearted person is insensitive to others, and to God. A tenderhearted person will be sensitive to God’s concerns, and care for those around him. The Holy Spirit will empower your life and keep you sensitive to the things which matter most to Him. The New Covenant declares that the Spirit of the Living God is available to all who will believe in Messiah, as seen when a Pharisee named Nicodemus came to Yeshua.
“Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
Yeshua answered, “unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
“How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:3-5)
 
I was born again in my 60's and water baptized at the age of 68. Your never too old to come to Jesus.
 
I appreciate that you want me to "get saved" as it were, but the facts remain that I don't believe in god and that I'm very happy with my religion.

For clarity, It's like this
We found out about something good. (Gods Love)

Now because that love changed us, we also are learning to love people. (souls)

So we want to share the hope and love....geez I know I know...it's a dang love fest.

You know what I mean...I have an SA XD45 4" greatest gun I ever owned. Great balance and recoil.

Your example is a good one. Let me carry it further.

The XD45 owner tells the Glock owner "you have the wrong gun. You have to have MY type of gun or you are stupid (bad, evil, ignorant). Then the Glock owner says the same thing to the XD45 owner. Which one is right?

Then along comes someone who says "I don't believe in guns". Both the Glock and XD45 owner attack him for his views.

This is (very simplified) what we have in religious threads.

No analogy is perfect. Even the old classic of having a cure for a problem and wanting to share it falls, the other folks must first believe they are sick and need a cure.
To go down a rabbit trail:
I do commend a previous "athiest" coworker of mine, though. I put atheist in quotes, because I believed him to be agnostic, but I digress. I had similar discussions with him for almost a year, and one day at lunch, he told me he doesn't buy it, he mentioned seeing Penn Gillette talk about Christians, and just as I was trying to figure out what wisdom he would glean from Mr. Gillette, he hit me with, "if you honestly believed I was in danger, but didn't warn me, I would have to wonder how much you hate me."
Sometimes, it is received.

But the Glock and the XD are both real, and accuracy, durability, reliability can all be tested and quantified, in addition to the more personal aspects as how it feels in your hand, trigger pull, not prone to limp wrist malfunctions, etc., etc.

China's Prophetic Action

Ironically, it is America and its rapidly fading wealth that has in effect funded the outfitting of that massive army that will one day destroy one-third of the world's population.​


Sino-American interaction--or perhaps better put, the lack of America's interaction--might have just taken on prophetic relevance. The nation, symbolized by the dragon, we know, will likely be one of the key players while rebellious mankind carries out the final acts of human history. There is some well-founded conjecture that China has made preparations to fire the powerful volley that could eventually prove to help bring America down as the greatest economic power on earth.

The story has yet to take on major emphasis by mainstream news, but look for it to grow in the near future. The news is not insignificant.

BEIJING -- At least 35 countries will join the China-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) by the deadline of March 31, the bank's interim chief, Jin Liqun, said on Sunday. Currently, India, Indonesia and New Zealand have expressed interest in joining the bank, he told a conference in Beijing, following a request by Britain, France, Italy and Luxembourg to become founding members. "By deadline, (we believe) 35 countries, or more, will become founding members of the bank," he said. (Source: Reuters, 3/23/15)

The Chinese government has been rumored for many months to be working to undermine U.S. top- nation economic status and the American dollar's position in the monetary world. That there is a grab by China to secure as much gold as possible is no secret. They are making deals with Russia and others for buying gas and oil, thereby, it is thought, working to marginalize U.S. involvement and influence. It is believed they are attempting to set up an economic system, which they would, of course, head--totally separate from American interaction.

It is worrisome to many within the world of economics that China holds so much of America's debt. Fears are that their manipulation of a tremendous amount of U.S. Treasury bonds will one day be used to help crash America's economy.

One concern that China is doing all it can to gather world economic power to itself is its reaching out to traditional enemies such as South Korea and Japan. The three nations met recently, ostensibly to work out territorial and diplomatic disputes. They agreed to continue to establish a trilateral series of meetings, and it is thought that the purpose of the meetings will be to secure stronger economic ties.

The dragon nation has proven to be one that is among the worst in the area of human rights. Its many atrocities show the leadership is led and inspired by a dragon of even more virulence--the great, red dragon--Satan.

Again, when considering the often-examined fact that America is mentioned nowhere in Bible prophecy, we must ask whether this current push by China to garner economic power at America's expense is yet another element of the end-times formula for bringing the U.S. down.

China, of course, is also not mentioned by name in Bible prophecy. However, is there much room for doubt that the dragon nation is there by inference to the student who studies carefully?

I believe that China as the major end-times prophetic nation from the Orient is presented primarily in two places in the book of Revelation. The first of the relevant passages is found in the ninth chapter:

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. (Revelation 9:13-16)

The prophet John, through the prophecy given him by God, expanded upon the foretelling in chapter 16:

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:12-14)

The king of the kings of the east–unless something very dramatic happens to change the configuration of things east of the Euphrates, has to be China. It could, by itself, have manned a two-hundred-million soldier army even as far back as the 1970s. Today, with the other nations of Asia and their massive populations, the two-hundred-million figure presents no problem at all so far as potential for fulfillment of the prophecy is concerned. And, certainly, China exerts hegemony over all of the other nations of its oriental sphere. Many within secular news media are beginning to recognize the same things those who watch Bible prophecy and current events have been recognizing for some time: China indeed looks like a major influence on factors that might bring about profound changes in the world.

We became stiff necked and arrogant. Pride. The only thing we learn from history is we learn nothing from history. The Book of Judges should be read once a year, the ending, and everyone did what was right in their own eyes. Not one texting addict cares. Full bellies, drunk or stoned mob, basses, the crowed. Nope. Our people love the sins so much and the leaders and prophets love it and lie. (Some issues with this post and or site at this time)

Bad example- Everybody knows an XD beats a Glock hands down! JK- :sarcastic:

We all must live & die with the choices we make in "Life". Unfortunately, once we die, so does our ability to change our minds. Eternity is a long, LONG time to live & suffer for a lapse in judgment.

I pray that the TRUTH will be revealed to you; while you can still change your mind.
