Pleasant Grove Robbery Goes Wrong
Pleasant Grove police say a robbery victim fought back with deadly force against two would be robbers. Police say a man in the Ridgeway subdivision was checking on his mother's home around 9 p.m. Monday when two men jumped out the bushes with a gun. Police have identified the dead robbery suspect as 18-year-old Marquis Strange of Fairfield. Chief Waites tells FOX6 news that investigators believe they know the second suspect's identity and they're trying to find that person.
A friend of mine once made an observation...when a regular person is killed unexpectedly, they're made out to be an incredibly awesome individual. When a not-so-great person dies, they were "turning their life around" or "had lived with a lot of turmoil but still had promise". Except for capital punishment, you never hear of anyone dying and people just say..."Yeah, they pretty much got what was coming to them."Glad to hear they think they know who the other suspect is. Not sure about the laws up there but in some places the second suspect could be charged with murder. Now we'll see how long it takes for Marquis Strange's family to come out about what a good boy he was. :cray:

Marquis Strange sounds like he was working really hard to get himself either in some serious trouble, or dead. It's unfortunate that he made so many poor decisions in life. I'd have shot him too, though.
