Open Carry / Conceal Carry

I have been pondering this issue since I saw the first post explaining the benefits of open carry and conceal carry, and I think I have come to a solution for everyone...

If you feel comfortable open carrying "Do So"

If you feel comfortable conceal carry "Do So"

There that will end all the open carry / conceal carry arguments....

Thank you for carrying!

I know some will be interested in the photo.
That was my uncle Al....Someone made the mistake of telling him he could not grow bananas in TN..
So he felt the need to protect them..

The only other thing I would add to both those lines is "and if it legal" as many states do not allow OC.

Do both and enjoy the advantages of both methods of carry. And, as imrambi mentioned, where legal of course.

In my state (Connecticut) the permit is to carry pistols and revolvers. There is no specific rule that says you must conceal. However, it has been the interpretation of many local police to charge open carriers with "brandishing" and a recent court case set a precedence that open carry is a legal option for permit holders. That said, I prefer to conceal, but I have no reason to worry if for any reason my sidearm shows, or if people see me putting the holster in the small of my back when I get out of my truck.

Thank you for carrying!

That's funny. My grandmother had a banana tree right outside her front door for a long as I can remember. The Memphis climate grew bananas quite will. (Grandmother sure made some good nan'r pud'n.)
