I went into my local bank the other day to cash a check. After that transaction was done I decided to ask the tellers a question. "Why do you guys have a 'no guns allowed' sign on the front door"
Their response made me laugh - "so no one will try to rob us". And they were completely serious.
I politely said "so someone wants to rob you but then sees that little sign and thinks 'crap now I'm going to have to rob some other place that doesn't have that sign' "- they didn't know what to say after that.
I find it amazing that some people really think that the sign is going to stop criminals from breaking another law.
