I came across USA Carry during a internet search and find it to be an amazing resource. I am a former US District Court CJA Detective and unfortunately my back was injured when I had a back surgery and the surgeon used a device off-label and it broke within a month. Unfortunately, it took almost a year to be found out and caused me to not be able to work again. I currently have an agreement with the Israeli Government to sell the Corner Shot Weapon System Link Removed and I have signed on with almost all of the manufactures to sell guns to the public at home. I can usually save customers about 10% to 20% on most guns. I can ship to all 50 states and you can pick up our weapon from any gun shop or FFL holder. They usually charge $25.00 to $50.00 to transfer the gun. 5% of all my sales go to Soldier's Angels to help our wounded soldiers and their families.

Newbie from KS

Hello all!

Newbie from KS here! Glad to be a part of this forum!

Been carrying for about a year now. I pack a S&W M&P9 full size. I use a Crossbreed ST holster carried at about 3:30. I load Federal Hydrashocks.

Outside of carrying, I like to hunt and fish. Next weekend I'm headed out to bag some pheasants before the KS season closes. And in May I'm heading to Lake Texoma to hopefully land some big stripers!

Family consists of my wife of four years and my son, 5, and daughter, 2. They are my primary reason for carrying.

Anything else you want to know? Lol

On another note, can anyone tell me how to edit my profile? I am on the Android app. If you could msg me that would be great!

Stay safe everyone!

I am new to this so bear with me. I am going to take my cwp and was needing advise on what kind of gun to use. I have a 32 auto and have a pretty good grouping with it, but what gun is recommended for taking this class with?

I took it with a Ruger Cowboy gun....six shot, 22 LR.

I would advise some type of automatic if you have access to one. In my class, the instructor had us shooting 10 shot sequences. It was a pain to unload and reload that six shooter in order to finish the exercise.

I agree with GOV5 about taking an automatic, but it really depends on you. If you have a range close by that has loaner guns or rents guns, then I would try a few out. At a minimum, I would go to a gun store and see what gun feel good in your hands. I just purchased the Smith and Wesson M&P and it is a great gun. It has adjustable back straps, so it fits almost all size hands. The M&P has very little kick when you fire, so it is easy to get back on target. I know a lot of police departments are going to this weapon, but it really comes down to what gun you feel comfortable shooting. The XD compact is also highly recommended, but I was not as impressed with it. I purchased from Home and found they had the best prices, but it really comes down to the area you live in and the price at your local gun shop.

Possibly the one you are using is what you feel comfortable with? Which after all is the main point. There is some proven 'stopper ammo' in the 32 category...if poked into the right places. Good grouping of 32's beats wild miss rounds of 40's :>)

.32 acp

IMHO the .32 ACP is just about the most useless cartridge ever invented! It's too underpowered and a crazy, even though hit, might just take it away from you and make you eat it!

A .380 ACP with +P ammo is the very least you should use in a defensive situation. Personally,I carry a Colt Detectice Special in .38 Spl. with Hornaday's new Critical Defense ammo. Very good medicine for the ungodly.

Hello everyone,

I came across USA Carry via a Twitter search of all places... I am new to forums, so I am sure I will make plenty of mistakes, please forgive me in advance.

I have read some of the posts and find them as enjoyable as they are informative. I hope to learn a lot and become an asset to this fine community of gunmen.
