Hey, I'm new here, I like to keep track of the topics due to the fact I live in IL (Land of no carry). But, it looks hopeful for maybe some time soon, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Not really new, but am making this my primary site

I am a member of USCCA. They have gone too politically correct for my blood.
The latest was they worry about offending jihadists. So, I am making this site my #1 to visit. I have been observing but not really responding. I hope this site is different.

Same here...I haven't been to the USCCA for quite sometime now...over a year ago? I remember now...getting to the point that politically correct is not the way to go...Anyway, welcome to this group...from Missouri.

GOA membership is like always having a spare box of ammunition...just in case. I just received my membership packet. Definetly Not PC. I fully recomend GOA if for that reason only. USA Carry, thank you for keeping our comunication lines open. "Gun Ownership is a 'Right', not a priviledge"

I grew up in ILL. Much better gun laws here in Washington State. My brother still lives back there so I get all of the news.

Yes Chris, I also grew of age in Illinois. Brainwashed by the powerful media and unionized education system, that 'guns' are evil and only owned by the 'Bad Guys' (truth on that point in Ill).

If you are victimized by the perpetually roaming Career Repeat Offenders, and they rape or kill you or family, You are Morally superior for just 'Taking it'. The 2nd Amendment is Never mentioned in Illinois schools. If you bring it up, the brainwashed teachers only say that it is... 'Debateable'.

I have a bro-in-law that is a teacher and he is planning on moving to a neighborhood that has a coyote population, and he was telling me about it and how he was worried about his "Dog" (its a miniature datsin) and I said just go out, et yourself a 22 rifle and sub-sonic loads, then go out on the second story porch and if they get in your yard, shoot them, and he actually agreed with me! I was shocked.:yu:

Just joined. Veteran - old - got out in '63. NRA member. Live in Bogota, NJ, 4 miles from George Washington bridge. Conservative. Get along with everyone except Progressives, Socialists, Marxists, Communists. Don't hate any of them, just can't stand their anti-American views. Active Tea Party member. Have become somewhat of an expert on the Constitution, and Islam/Sharia law. Also knowledgable on Obamacare - may it die a rapid death. I write articles on these and other subjects for the Tea Party Times (a monthly newspaper).
 
Hello from sunny Florida

Great site and forum here! I am in the beginning stage of opening my own shop Young Guns and Safety in the Sarasota, Florida area. We have the building and the FFL will be here in three weeks. I am a NRA Life Member and a NRA certified firearms instructor and have been for some time now. Very excited to enter this next chapter in my life. I look forward to reading and interacting in the forums.

I am a NRA SR Training Counselor and A Suarez International Staff Instructor. In my spare time I work in quality control in the aviation world.
I am a experienced student of fireams and shooting, having attended 40 + classes and over 150 different competitions. I shoot all types of fireams and enjoy many different disciplines from trap to long range sniper events.
