I have always preferred the shootin' through the hole in a washer to prove my shootin' skills.

I stole this idea from "Support Your Local Sheriff" starring James Garner.

I take the bullet out of the case and put a square of duct tape on the back of it before reseating it. Then I shoot the washer and put the tape ON the washer hole.

And I do that using a safe backstop too.
